Albany liquor store robbed at gunpoint

ALBANY — Police are investigating an armed robbery Wednesday at Brothers Package Store located at 1101 Newton Road.
Witnesses told police that around 10 p.m. two males dressed all in black entered the store and demanded money at gunpoint.
No injuries were reported, police say, but the robbers escaped with an undisclosed amount of money from the register.
Phyllis Banks, spokeswoman for the Albany Police Department, said Thursday the incident remained under investigation.
