Albany police charge two with burglary
Octavious Bell and Quantavious Daniels were arrested Thursday

ALBANY — The Albany Police Department announced the arrests of two men on burglary charges Thursday.
The APD said Octavious Alexander Bell has been arrested and charged with burglary in the second degree, possession of tools during the commission of a crime and possession of synthetic marijuana.
Bell was taken into custody after the owner of a Lake Park business who was alerted by a burglar alarm called police. Video showed a man prying open a window with a pry bar and after gaining entry ran to the cash register, which he emptied of loose change.
An officer was able to make contact with the male, who was riding a bicycle, on the 700 block of North Westover Boulevard.
Bell was then taken into custody.
Later in the day, police arrested Quantavious Daniels on a charge of burglary in the first first degree.
Daniels pawned several pieces of jewelry on Oct. 14. The jewelry had been reported stolen from a Kenilworth Road residence on Oct. 15.
Detectives located Daniels on Oct. 22 in the 600 block of Burke Avenue. He was transported to the Law Enforcement Center where he was interviewed. Daniels had a coral and jade necklace in his possession at the time detectives made contact with him which was later identified by the victim as being her necklace.
