ALBANY — The city of Albany’s Public Works Department is working on — and plans to work on — a pair of road projects that may slow up traffic in the area surrounding the work.

On Wednesday, crews started the process of installing speed tables on the 500 block of 11th Avenue. Traffic will be limited in the area during the work and could lead to delays.

The area is expected to be cleared by Monday or until the work is complete.

On Monday at 8 a.m., crews will close the 1600 block of the westbound lane of W. Oakridge Drive near Boswell Oil Company. Crews will be doing sewer work in the area, and drivers should use caution when traveling while construction is under way.

The lane closure is expected to last through Tuesday or until the work is complete.

Traffic may be delayed in the area around both projects, and drivers should consider using alternate routes.
