ALBANY — Starting April 27, the Albany Utility Board will move its second monthly meetings each month to 6 p.m. so that more interested persons will have an opportunity to attend the meetings.

The board meets twice monthly, on the second and fourth Thursdays each month. The night meetings will fall during the fourth Thursday — the second meeting — each month.

“We felt it was important to give members of the public who work during the day and can’t attend day-time meetings an opportunity to attend and learn more about the Utility Authority and how it impacts them,” Utility Board member Ryshari Burley said. “The Board felt it would benefit the community for more people to have access to the meetings so that they can voice any concerns they might have.”

The Utility Board meetings are held at the 401 Pine Ave. Utility Administration Building.
