In order to qualify for the Dean’s List, students must meet two criteria: earn a grade of “A” in all coursework attempted and be enrolled between 9 and 11 semester credit hours at the college.
Mississippi State University announces honorees
MISSISSIPPI STATE, Miss. — More than 2,500 students have been named to the fall 2023 Deans’ List at Mississippi State University. The following local students received the honor:
Anna Pierce of Albany
To be named to the Deans’ List at Mississippi State, a student must have achieved a GPA between 3.5 and 3.79, based on a 4.0 scale, while completing at least 12 semester hours of coursework with no incomplete grades or grades lower than a C.
More than 4,500 students were named to the fall 2023 President’s List at Mississippi State University. Students on the President’s List at Mississippi State achieved a 3.80 or better GPA, based on a 4.0 scale, while completing at least 12 semester hours of coursework with no incomplete grades or grades lower than a C.

Alabama announces honorees
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — A total of 13,950 students enrolled during fall semester 2023 at The University of Alabama were named to the Dean’s List with an academic record of 3.5 (or above) or the president’s list with an academic record of 4.0 (all A’s). The UA Dean’s and President’s lists recognize full-time undergraduate students.
