ALBANY – A Dougherty County woman faces murder and other charges in connection with the Sunday morning death of her boyfriend during what the Dougherty County Police Department described as a domestic dispute.

Jenna Colley initially was hospitalized with injuries after police were dispatched at about 6:45 a.m. Sunday to 805 Colley Ave. The investigation revealed the death of Kenauwkee (Ken) Covin, 37.

The cause of Covin’s death was stabbing, Dougherty County Coroner Michael Fowler said.

Colley, 30, has been released from the hospital, police said. She has been charged with felony murder, aggravated assault (family violence) and possession of a cutting tool during the commission of a crime and was being held at the Dougherty County Jail.
