ALBANY — Officials with the Albany Police Department said Willie E. Lockette, chief judge of Dougherty County Superior Court, was injured Thursday in a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of Stuart Avenue and Barnesdale Way.

Police official say around 7:29 a.m. Lockette, 65, was traveling west on Stuart Avenue when the 2010 Ford Mustang he was driving was involved in a collision with a 1992 Cadillac Deville driven by 41-year-old Wilmer Mosley.

Lockette and two unidentified passengers of the Cadillac complained of injuries and were transported to Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital for treatment, officials say. A hospital official said Lockette was later discharged.

Albany police officials say Mosley was cited for failure to yield at a stop sign.
