GBI to investigate Tifton shooting deaths

TIFTON — In a media release on Friday, the Georgia Bureau of Investigation confirmed the shooting of Tifton residents Horace Brinkley, 26, and Nicole Golsen, 18, inside a residence on the 400 block of Cole Street in Tifton.

The victims were found at the residence by a relative shortly before 9 a.m on Friday, police officials say. The relatives then contacted the Tift County Sheriff’s Office.

By request of the sheriff’s office, the GBI will assist in the investigation of the possible homicide, GBI officials say.
