H.E.A.R.T., ASU offer free vaccines, booster shots

ALBANY — The Albany H.E.A.R.T. (Hands Extended Across Reaching Together) organization, in conjunction with the Albany State University Health Literacy Project, will provide free COVID-19 vaccines and boosters Saturday at Mt. Pilgrim Baptist Church in Albany.

The event will be held from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. at the 1500 Newton Road church.

Vaccines and booster shots will be administered by IK Medical Diagnostic Services and nurses Femi Barrett-Williams and Marietta Poole. Free refreshments will be served to all participants.
