Hays Pharmacy to close

Albany, GA. – The Hays Pharmacy locations on Gillionville Road and East Oglethrope Boulevard are expected to close and begin selling out of Walgreens.
Owner David Hays cites his inability to compete with the mail-order pharmacy business as the primary reason. The transition is expected to take place Oct. 27.
“Scripts will be available at this store one day and the new store the next day,” he said. “It will just be a different place to pick things up.”
Hays said he is not sure at this time which Walgreens locations will be impacted.
