Interim Lee administrator named

LEESBURG, Ga. — Al Krace of Roswell has been named as the sole candidate to serve as Lee County’s administrator.
The County Commission decided today on Krace as the lone candidate for the job on an interim basis while the county searches for a permanent replacement for Alan Ours, who has taken the county administrator post in Glynn County.
The commission will wait 14 days before making the selection official.
Commission Chairman Ed Duffy said Krace will not be a candidate for the permanent position, saying Krace only wanted to serve in the job on an interim basis.

The Terrell County Board of Commissioners voted unanimously Tuesday to adopt a six-month moratorium on new data centers, giving county officials time to develop zoning regulations governing where such facilities could be located and how they would operate.
