Kiwanis Club Foundation golf tournament to benefit students

ALBANY — The Kiwanis Club of Dougherty Foundation is seeking golfers to play in its upcoming tournament.

The event will take place at Riverpointe Golf Club on March 16. The event will include a breakfast for players starting at 7:30 a.m., with a shotgun start at 9 a.m. The tournament play will be between two-person teams.

Proceeds from the event will again benefit the club’s Education Foundation, supporting scholarships for deserving students of public and private schools in Dougherty, Lee and Terrell counties.

Fees for the tournament include hole sponsor, $200; hole sponsor and a team, $300; a two-person team, $150; individual player, $75.
