ALBANY POLICE: The Albany Police Department responded to at least 26 incidents on Thursday and the early hours of Friday, available reports show. Incidents included:
— Criminal trespass on the 500 block of West Gordon Avenue, the 600 block of West Whitney Avenue, the 3800 block of Old Towne Court, the 1200 block of Towering Pine Lane, the 900 block of Colquitt Circle, the 1500 block of Georgia Avenue and the 400 block of West Oglethorpe Boulevard;
— Aggravated assaults on the 1300 block of South McKinley Street, the 300 block of Flintside Drive, the 100 block of South Slappey Boulevard and the 600 block of Swift Street;
— Thefts by taking on the 1400 block of North Davis Street, the 1300 block of Avalon Avenue and the 1100 block of Avalon Avenue;
— Disorderly conduct on the 800 block of West Whitney Avenue and the 1500 block of North Jefferson Street;
— Criminal damage to property on the 2300 block of Tompkins Avenue and the 2300 block of Hawthorne Drive;
— Simple battery on the 600 block of Sands Drive;
— Burglary on the 500 block of West Society Avenue;
— Theft by shoplifting on the 2600 block of Dawson Road;
— Harassing phone call on the 2800 block of Partridge Drive;
— Possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime on the 3300 block of Old Dawson Road;
— Battery on the 1500 block of Whitney Avenue;
— Missing person on the 500 block of Jefferies Avenue.
DOUGHERTY POLICE: The Dougherty County Police Department responded to at least 11 incidents on Thursday and the early hours of Friday, available reports show. Incidents included:
— Criminal trespass on the 2300 block of Moultrie Road, the 3200 block of Sylvester Highway and the 600 block of Holly Drive;
— Animals at large on the 2800 block of Astoria Drive and the 700 block of Holly Drive;
— Assist motorists at the intersection of Holly Drive and the Liberty Expressway and the 100 block of Byron Plantation Road;
— Theft by taking on the 2600 block of Winifred Road;
— Burglary on the 3500 block of Staton Drive;
— Abandoned auto at the intersection of Branch Road and Clark Avenue;
— Suspicious auto on the 4400 block of Acree Avenue.
ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least nine incidents on Thursday and the early hours of Friday, available reports show. Incidents included:
— Building fire on the 3900 block of Rodner Forest Lane;
— Unauthorized burning on the 2000 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Drive;
— Assist police on the 2400 block of Brierwood Drive;
— Heat from a short circuit on the 1300 block of Edgerly Avenue;
— Medical assist on the 800 block of 10th Avenue;
— Animal rescue on the 900 block of Holloway Avenue;
— Grass fire on the 2000 block of North Slappey Boulevard;
— EMS call assist on the 3200 block of Higgins Drive;
— Auto accident at the intersection of West Oglethorpe Boulevard and South Davis Street.
DOUGHERTY EMS: Dougherty County EMS responded to at least 67 calls on Thursday and the early hours of Friday, available reports show. Incidents included six seizure calls, five chest pain calls, five altered mental state calls, five respiratory calls, two labor calls, two miscellaneous pain calls, two cardiac arrest calls, one faint call, one diabetic call, one mental health call and 24 various medical calls. Trauma calls included eight falls, three auto accident calls and two assault calls.
