ALBANY POLICE: The Albany Police Department responded to at least 35 incidents Wednesday and the early hours of Thursday, available reports show. Those incidents included:
— Burglary on the 600 block of Sands Drive, the 1000 block of North Washington, the 600 block of Moultrie Road, the 600 block of Sands Drive, the 1200 block of 5th Avenue, the 600 block of Moultrie Road, the 500 block of West Society, and the 1000 block of North Slappey Boulevard;
— Criminal trespass on the 600 block of West Society Avenue, the 1500 block of Edgerly Avenue, the 1200 block of West Gordon Avenue, the 600 block of West Society Avenue, the 1200 block of Gary Avenue, the 600 block of Kingsbury Lane, and the 500 block of South Van Buren Street;
— Disorderly conduct on the 600 block of Moultrie Road, the 600 block of West Society Avenue, 2400 block of North Slappey Boulevard, and the 100 block of North Washington Street;
— Driving on a suspended or revoked license on the 1700 block of Owens Avenue, the 2500 block of South Jackson Street, and the 2600 block of Crossbow Court;
— Entering auto on the 2200 block of East Doublegate Drive, the 200 block of Cotton Avenue, and the 600 block of West Tift Avenue;
— Theft by taking on the 900 block of Randolph Street, and the 500 block of 10th Avenue;
— Theft by shoplifting on the 1000 block of West Gordon Avenue, and the 1600 block of East Oglethorpe Boulevard;
— Aggravated assault on the 2400 block of North Slappey Boulevard, and the 1400 block of Owens Avenue;
— Simple battery on the 1300 block of Mobile Avenue;
— Criminal attempt to commit a felony on the 600 block of Sands Drive;
— Armed robbery on the 700 block of East Broad Avenue;
— Marijuana possession on the 900 block of West Oglethorpe Boulevard.
DOUGHERTY POLICE: The Dougherty County Police Department responded to at least 15 incidents Wednesday and the early hours of Thursday, available reports show. Those incidents included:
— Traffic arrest at the intersection of Moultrie Road and the Liberty Expressway, and the 1400 block of South Mock Road;
— Unwanted guest on the 3000 block of War Eagle Drive, and the 2600 block of North Avenue;
— Suspicious auto on the 600 block of Philema Road, and the 3100 block of War Eagle Drive;
— Disorderly conduct on the 2300 block of the Liberty Expressway;
— Auto accident on the 1500 block of Moultrie Road;
— Drunk person on the 500 block of Pine Bluff Road;
— Tree down on the 6000 block of Elliott Drive;
— Animal call on the 4900 block of Edith Drive;
— Harassing phone calls on the 100 block of Rosewood Drive;
— Speeding auto at the intersection of Clark Avenue and Hill Road;
— Shooting on the 2400 block of Dawson Road.
ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least eight incidents Wednesday and the early hours of Thursday, available reports show. Those incidents included:
— Medical assist on the 1500 block of Whitney Avenue, and the 1900 block of Palmyra Road;
— Building fire on the 2300 block of Camden Lane, and the 1200 block of Netherland Lane;
— Motor vehicle accident at the intersection of Cordele Road and Clark Avenue and the 800 block of South Shadowlawn Drive.
— Arcing, electrical short on the 500 block of Eugemar Drive;
— Vehicle fire on the 1600 block of Malone Drive.
DOUGHERTY EMS: The Dougherty County EMS responded to at least 70 calls on Wednesday and the early hours of Thursday, available reports show. Those calls included seven miscellaneous pain calls, six respiratory issue calls, four altered mental status calls, three mental health calls, two cardiac arrest calls, one diabetic issue call, one seizure call, and 24 various medical calls. Trauma calls included six falls, four auto accidents, three lacerations, and two gunshot victims.
