ALBANY POLICE: The Albany Police Department responded to at least 20 incidents on Tuesday and the early hours of Wednesday, available reports show. Incidents included:
— Disorderly conduct on the 300 block of Station Crossing Road and the 900 block of Oakdale Court;
— Criminal trespass on the 2000 block of West Broad Avenue;
— Aggravated assaults on the 1300 block of Bayhill Lane and the 500 block of North Westover Boulevard;
— Thefts by shoplifting on the 200 block of Cordele Road and the 1300 block of East Broad Avenue;
— Simple battery on the 1700 block of North Slappey Boulevard;
— Theft by taking/motor vehicle on the 700 blcok of East Oglethorpe Boulevard;
— Theft of loss/mislaid property on the 600 block of North Monroe Street;
— Financial transaction card fraud on the 100 block of South Slappey Boulevard;
— Marijuana with intent to distribute on the 700 block of South McKinley Street;
— Forgery on the 2600 block of Dawson Road;
— Entering autos on the 1000 block of North Slappey Boulevard and the 900 block of Cherry Avenue;
— DUI on the 1300 block of North Slappey Boulevard;
— Enticing a child for indecent purposes on the 400 block of Odom Avenue;
— Deceased person on the 900 block of West Mercer Avenue;
— Possession of firearm during commission of crime on the 400 block of West Oglethorpe Boulevard;
— No insurance on the 1800 block of Palmyra Road.
DOUGHERTY POLICE: The Dougherty County Police Department responded to at least 18 incidents on Tuesday and the early hours of Wednesday, available reports show. Incidents included:
— Harassing phone calls on the 2100 block of Habersham Road;
— Animal calls on the 3600 block of Plumcrest Avenue and the 3000 block of East Park Court;
— Alarm activations on the 200 block of Manchester Drive, the 200 block of Byron Ridge Drive, the 5700 block of Medley Lane, the 100 block of Shady Glen Lane, the 800 block of Strout Avenue and the 4800 block of Marlborough Avenue;
— Traffic arrest on the 1500 block of South Mock Road;
— Criminal trespass on the 1200 block of Sweetbrier Road;
— Suspicious auto at the intersection of Honeysuckle Drive and the Liberty Expressway;
— Discharging a firearm on the 2100 block of Habersham Road;
— 911 hang-up on the 2600 block of McCarthern Lane;
— Family violence on the 4800 block of Impala Lane and the 100 block of Redbud Road;
— Suspicious person on the 1400 block of South Mock Road.
ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least nine incidents on Tuesday and the early hours of Wednesday, available reports show. Incidents included:
— Medical assist on the 900 block of West Mercer Avenue;
— Alarm system activations on the 100 block of South Front Street, the 500 block of Alice Avenue, the 4800 block of Pinto Drive and the 2500 block of North Slappey Boulevard;
— Unauthorized burning on the 200 block of Ashwood Street;
— Grass fire on the 5000 block of Old Dawson Road,
— Building fire on the 1800 block of Gillionville Road;
— Motor vehicle accident at the intersection of Eighth Avenue and North Davis Street.
DOUGHERTY EMS: Dougherty County EMS responded to at least 85 calls on Monday and the early hours of Tuesday, available reports show. Incidents included eight chest pain calls, seven respiratory issue calls, four altered mental state calls, four miscellaneous pain calls, three labor issue calls, two cardiac arrest calls, two seizure calls and 24 various medical calls. Trauma calls included 19 auto accidents, six falls, three lacerations and two assaults. Other types of calls included one Albany Fire Department assist.
