ALBANY POLICE: The Albany Police Department responded to at least 19 incidents on Thursday and the early hours of Friday, available reports show. Incidents included:
— Thefts by taking on the 2900 block of Winterwood Avenue, the 800 block of Odom Avenue, the 1000 block of West Gordon Avenue and the 400 block of Flint Avenue;
— Disorderly conduct on the 1000 block of South Slappey Boulevard, the 400 block of West Oglethorpe Boulevard and the 200 block of Garden Hill Drive;
— Criminal trespass on the 200 block of Pine Bluff Road, the 3000 block of Kensington Court and the 2900 block of Averitt Road;
— Burglaries on the 300 block of Wells Avenue and the 300 block of Acorn Street;
— Child in need-unruly on the 1100 block of Swift Street;
— Theft by shoplifting on the 400 block of South Slappey Boulevard;
— Expired registration on the 2200 block of North Slappey Boulevard;
— Injured person on the 2200 block of Doncaster Drive;
— Entering auto on the 1800 block of Pineknoll Lane;
— Battery on the 1300 block of East Broad Avenue;
— Aggravated assault on the 800 block of South Harding Street.
DOUGHERTY POLICE: The Dougherty County Police Department responded to at least 10 incidents on Thursday and the early hours of Friday, available reports show. Incidents included:
— Abandoned autos at the intersection of the Liberty Expressway and Moultrie Road and the intersection of North Rosewood and Radium Springs Road;
— Auto accident on the 700 block of County Line Road;
— Bank escort on the 700 block of Philema Road;
— Suspicious auto at the intersection of Cherokee Drive and Sylvester Road;
— Man down on the 2500 block of Hardup Road;
— Burglary on the 3700 block of Old Mill Road;
— Theft by taking on the 2600 block of Great Oak Street;
— Suicide attempt on the 3100 block of Plains Drive;
— Family violence on the 4800 block of Mustang Drive.
ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least six incidents on Thursday and the early hours of Friday, available reports show. Incidents included:
— Medical assists on the 2400 block of North Slappey Boulevard and the 2300 block of Sanborn Avenue;
— Animal rescue on the 2700 block of Doncaster Drive;
— Power line down on the 400 block of Wells Avenue;
— Arcing/shorted electrical line on the 1800 block of Spruce Lane;
— Unauthorized burning on the 600 block of Holly Drive.
DOUGHERTY EMS: Dougherty County EMS responded to at least 77 calls on Thursday and the early hours of Friday, available reports show. Incidents included 11 respiratory calls, seven miscellaneous pain calls, five chest pain calls, two altered mental state calls, two seizure calls, two mental health calls, one faint call, one stroke call, one diabetic issue call and one labor call. Trauma calls included four falls, four auto accident calls and one assault.
