ALBANY POLICE: The Albany Police Department responded to at least 26 calls on Thursday and the early hours of Friday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:
— Thefts by taking on the 300 block of Barton Avenue, the 400 block of Gaines Avenue, the 1500 block of Radium Springs Road, the 2600 block of Dawson Road and the 2400 block of Pheasant Drive;
— Battery on the 400 block of North Carroll Street and the 1500 block of South Madison Street;
— Criminal trespass on the 600 block of West Second Avenue and the 2400 block of Dawson Road;
— Burglaries on the 100 block of Old Blaylock Lane and the 400 block of Ebony Avenue;
— Suicide attempt on the 2400 block of Osler Court and the 2200 block of Gleneagles Drive;
— Disorderly conduct on the 1200 block of Catalina Lane and the 500 block of Don Cutler Sr. Drive;
— Entering autos on the 2200 block of Gillionville Road and the 2500 block of North Slappey Boulevard;
— Possession of a firearm by a convicted felon on the 1400 block of North Slappey Boulevard;
— Missing person on the 900 block of 10th Avenue;
— Interfering with officer on the 400 block of Harmon Avenue;
— Abandoned vehicle on the 200 block of the Liberty Expressway;
— Terroristic threats on the 500 block of Swift Street;
— Theft by shoplifting on the 300 block of West Oglethorpe Boulevard;
— Criminal damage to property on the 2700 block of West Oakridge Drive;
— Cruelty to children on the 100 block of Patrol Drive;
— Statutory rape on the 700 block of West Lincoln Avenue.
DOUGHERTY POLICE: The Dougherty County Police responded to at least 14 calls on Thursday and the early hours of Friday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:
— Burglar alarm on the 1500 block of South Mock Road;
— Suspicious person on the 3000 block of Radium Springs Road;
— Criminal damage to property on the 200 block of Holly Drive;
— Personal welfare check on the 500 block of Old Pretoria Road;
— Family violence on the 2900 block of Gibson Road;
— EMS assist on the 1700 block of Lily Pond Road;
— Abandoned auto on the 700 block of Philema Road;
— Bank escort on the 700 block of Philema Road;
— Contact person on the 1600 block of Cordele Road;
— Thefts by taking on the 2300 block of the Liberty Expressway and the 4600 block of Palm Avenue;
— Suspicious person on the 2700 block of Lindsey Avenue;
— Residential burglary on the 200 block of Stonegate Lane;
— Recovered auto on the 3700 block of Clark Avenue.
ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least nine calls on Thursday and the early hours of Friday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:
— Arcing electrical on the 1100 block of East Roosevelt Avenue, the 2600 block of Flynn Court and the 1200 block of West Highland Avenue;
— No incidents found on arrival on the 1200 block of Firestone Drive and the 200 block of Pine Bluff Road;
— Cooking fire on the 900 block of West Gordon Avenue;
— Alarm on the 1600 block of Devon Drive;
— Auto accident on the 200 block of Cordele Road;
— Smoke removal on the 600 block of Sands Drive.
DOUGHERTY EMS: Dougherty County EMS responded to at least 73 calls on Thursday and the early hours of Friday, available reports indicate. Incidents included five chest pain calls, five mental health calls, four respiratory issue calls, four altered mental state calls, three miscellaneous pain calls, one diabetic issue call, one labor call, one faint call and 28 various medical calls. Trauma calls included 15 auto accident victims and six falls.
