ALBANY POLICE: The Albany Police Department responded to at least 18 calls on Wednesday and the early hours of Thursday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:

— Thefts by shoplifting on the 300 block of North Slappey Boulevard, the 200 block of Cordele Road and the 1500 block of Radium Springs Road;

— Criminal trespass on the 700 block of West Society Avenue, the 700 block of West First Avenue and the 900 block of Pine Avenue;

— Battery on the 800 block of North Harding Street, the 1200 block of Kingstown Court and the 700 block of West Gordon Avenue;

— Thefts by taking on the 1000 block of Dunes Avenue and the 300 block of West First Avenue;

— Disorderly conduct on the 400 block of West Third Avenue and the 600 block of North Monroe Street;

— Missing person on the 100 block of Wayne Way;

— Harassing phone call on the 1600 block of Pineview Avenue;

— Interfering with officers on the 2300 block of East Oglethorpe Boulevard;

— Graffiti on the 700 block of West First Avenue;

— Methamphetamine possession with intent to distribute on the 2500 block of North Slappey Boulevard.

DOUGHERTY POLICE: The Dougherty County Police Department responded to at least 15 calls on Wednesday and the early hours of Thursday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:

— Suspicious person on the 1400 block of South Mock Road;

— Speeding on the 1200 block of Lily Pond Road;

— Theft by taking on the 400 block of Lumpkin Street;

— Family violence on the 3600 block of Plumcrest Avenue;

— Burglar alarm on the 800 block of Strout Avenue;

— Contact persons on the 1800 block of Mayflower Lane and the 2100 block of Habersham Road;

— Assist motorist on the 2500 block of Fleming Road;

— Suspicious auto on the 4500 block of Sylvester Highway and the 2400 block of Cherry Lane;

— Auto accident on the 600 block of Tallahassee Road;

— 911 hang-up on the 1500 block of Antioch Road;

— Unknown problem on the 1400 block of South Mock Road;

— Family violence on the 700 block of Morgan Street;

— Disorderly conduct on the 400 block of Philema Road.

ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least 10 calls on Wednesday and the early hours of Thursday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:

— Cooking fire on the 300 block of Flintside Drive;

— Smoke detector activation on the 2700 block of NewCastle Lane;

— EMS call on the 100 block of Honeysuckle Drive;

— Overheated motor on the 1200 block of Stuart Avenue;

— Auto accident at the intersection of North Slappey Boulevard and Dawson Road;

— Lightning strike on the 4000 block of Quail Hollow Road;

— RV fire on the 5800 block of Newton Road;

— Power line down on the 1500 block of Pinecrest Drive;

— Arcing electrical on the 1200 block of East Fourth Avenue;

— Smoke removal on the 1100 block of East Third Avenue.

DOUGHERTY EMS: Dougherty County EMS responded to at least 84 calls on Wednesday and the early hours of Thursday, available reports indicate. Incidents included 10 chest pain calls, 10 respiratory issue calls, five miscellaneous pain calls, one faint call, one altered mental state call, one stroke victim call, one seizure call, one diabetic issue call and 36 various medical calls. Trauma calls included five falls, four auto accident victims, four lacerations and one assault call. Other types of calls included three medical alert calls.
