ALBANY POLICE: The Albany Police Department responded to at least 24 incidents on Wednesday, available reports show. Incidents included:
— Criminal trespass on the 2100 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Drive and the 300 block of Station Crossing Drive;
— Shoplifting on the 1200 block of North Westover Boulevard and the 2500 block of North Slappey Boulevard;
— Family violence (unfounded) on the 2700 block of Gillionville Road and the 1700 block of West Lincoln Avenue;
— Thefts by taking on the 300 block of South Mock Road and the 500 block of Swift Street;
— Simple battery (family violence) on the 1600 block of Avalon Avenue and the 300 block of West Oglethorpe Boulevard;
— Property damage on the 1300 block of Hobson Street;
— Tag light violation on the intersection of North Slappey Boulevard and 18th Avenue;
— Motor vehicle theft on the 1000 block of North Westover Boulevard;
— Interfering with city officers on the 700 block of South Slappey Boulevard;
— Theft of lost or mislaid property on the the 600 block of Sands Drive;
— Open container on the 900 block of 17th Avenue;
— Harassing phone calls on the 100 block of Adelyn Road;
— Stop sign violation at the intersection of South Valencia Drive and Edgerly Avenue;
— Burglary in the first degree on the 700 block of Mobile Avenue.
DOUGHERTY POLICE: The Dougherty County Police Department responded to at least 18 calls on Wednesday into early Thursday, available reports show. Incidents included:
— Animal calls on the 3700 block of Namdi Street and the 2800 block of Winifred Road;
— Auto accidents on the 1500 block of the Liberty Expressway Southeast and the 3300 block of Sylvester Road;
— Suspicious persons on the 1200 block of Nixon Drive and the 3300 block of War Eagle Avenue;
— Burglary alarms on the 4800 block of Mustang Drive and the 4400 block of Harris Road;
— Criminal trespass on the 4800 block of Impala Lane and the first block of Easy Drive;
— Burglary on the 1300 block of Lily Pond Road;
— Assault on the 3000 block of Sylvester Road;
— Theft by taking on the 500 block of Pine Bluff Road;
— Contact person on the 500 block of Champion Avenue;
— Suspicious auto at the intersection of Slade Avenue and Leggett Drive.
ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least six calls on Wednesday into early Thursday, available reports show. Incidents included a motor vehicle accident, a passenger vehicle fire, a power line down, a building fire, an alarm activation and an unauthorized burning.
DOUGHERTY EMS: Dougherty County Emergency Medical Service responded to a total of 73 calls on Wednesday, available reports show. There were 62 medical calls and 11 trauma calls. Medical calls included 12 respiratory issues, seven miscellaneous pain calls, six chest pain calls, five seizures, four altered mental health statuses, two diabetic issues, one stroke call, one mental health issue, one OB call and 23 other medical calls. Trauma calls included four lacerations, four auto accident victims and three falls.
