ALBANY — The Albany Police Department responded to at least 28 calls on Monday, available reports show. Incidents included:
— Criminal trespass on the 200 block of Hall Street, the 400 block of West Oglethorpe Boulevard, the 2500 block of Redwood Court, the 500 block of West Broad Avenue, the 1000 block of West Second Avenue and the 1100 block of Benjamin Street;
— Runaway juveniles on the 800 block of Rosedale Avenue and the 100 block of North Cleveland Street;
— Burglaries in the second degree on 400 block of Hickory Lane and the 700 block of Johnson Road;
— Criminal damage to property in the second degree on the 2300 block of Tompkins Avenue;
— Forgeries in the first degree on the 2800 and the 2400 blocks of North Slappey Boulevard;
— Entering autos on the 3200 block of Wexford Drive and the 2500 block of Beachview Drive;
— Public indecency on the 700 block of Wheeler Avenue;
— Open container at the intersection of South Slappey Boulevard and Avalon Avenue;
— Family violence (unfounded) on the 900 block of West Residence Avenue and the 1400 block of Whispering Pines Road;
— Disorderly conduct on the 600 block of Sands Drive;
— Criminal use of an article with altered ID mark on the 2300 block of Sylvester Road;
— Simple assault on the 2700 block of Dawson Road;
— Burglary in the first degree on the 500 block of Flint Avenue.
DOUGHERTY POLICE: The Dougherty County Police Department responded to at least 22 calls on Monday and the early hours of Tuesday, available reports show. Incidents included:
— Burglar alarms on the 3700 block of Namdi Street, the 5000 block of Radium Springs Road, the 3200 block of Pinyon Drive and the 500 block of Nectar Lane;
— Traffic control at the intersection of Cordele Road and Pine Bluff Road;
— Burglary of a business on the 100 block of Branch Road;
— Suspicious persons at the intersection of Cordele Road and Henson Drive, the 1300 block of McKenzie Road, the 3200 block of Sylvester Road and the 1200 block of Stephen Lane;
— Family violence on the 2700 block of Leary Road and the 500 block of Pine Bluff Road;
— Property damage on the 2100 block of Habersham Road;
— Personal welfare check on the 500 block of Champion Avenue;
— Contact persons on the 1000 block of Westview Drive and the 500 block of Pine Bluff Road;
— Road blocked on the 4500 block of Sylvester Road;
— Suspicious autos on the 2100 block of Cordele Road and at the intersection of Forrester Road and Old Dawson Road;
— Discharging firearm on the 700 block of Cordele Road;
— 911 hang-up on the 1500 block of Skylark Lane.
ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least 11 calls on Monday and the early hours of Tuesday, available reports show. Incidents included alarm activations, animal rescue, EMS assistance, shorted electrical equipment, downed power lines, smoke removal and a water leak.
DOUGHERTY EMS: Dougherty County Emergency Medical Service responded to at least 63 calls on Monday, available reports show. The run report included two miscellaneous medical issues, two abdominal pain calls, one allergy call, one assault call, seven breathing problems, two burns, two cardiac arrests, one chest pain call, one convulsion/seizure call, one diabetic problem, two faintings, six fall victims, one headache, two heat/cold exposures, two hemorrhages/lacerations, one medical alarm, one pregnancy/childbirth issue, three psychiatric problems, 19 sick people, three traffic accidents, one traumatic injury, one unconscious person and one unknown issue.
