ALBANY — The Albany Police Department responded to at least 31 incidents on Monday, available reports show. Incidents included:
— Criminal trespass on the 1800 block of Mississippi Avenue, the 500 block of South Jackson Street, the 300 block of East Oakridge Drive, the 300 block of Elsom Street and the 1900 block of North Maple Street;
— Suicide attempt on the 1200 block of West Gordon Avenue;
— Terroristic threats and acts on the 100 block of Westcott Lane;
— Harassing phone calls on the 500 block of Johnson Road;
— Disorderly conduct on the 900 block of West Gordon Avenue, the 600 block of 11th Avenue and the 100 block of North Haley Street;
— Family violence (unfounded) on the 2600 block of Gillionville Road, the 400 block of Station Crossing Drive, the 2900 block of Madeline Road and the 1000 block of Dunes Avenue;
— Missing person on the 2000 block of Gary Avenue;
— Financial transaction card thefts on the 900 block of West Broad Avenue and the 2800 block of Nottingham Way;
— Shoplifting on the 200 block of South Slappey Boulevard and the 2200 block of East Oglethorpe Boulevard;
— Theft by taking on the 1300 block of Mercantile Drive;
— Family violence (battery) on the 1400 block of Avalon Avenue and the 600 block of West Society Avenue;
— Burglaries on the 2200 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Drive and on the 1500 block of Georgia Avenue;
— Interfering with city officers on the 500 block of 10th Avenue;
— Entering auto on the 500 block of Mitchell Avenue;
— Identity fraud on the 2200 block of South Washington Street;
— Battery on the 700 block of Corn Avenue.
DOUGHERTY POLICE: The Dougherty County Police Department responded to at least 16 incidents on Monday, available reports show. Incidents included:
— VIN verification on the 3300 block of Sweetbrier Road;
— Auto accidents on the 2400 block of Greenmount Court, the 4500 block of Sylvester Road and the 2400 block of Nelms Road;
— Theft by taking on the 3800 block of Coakley Avenue;
— Suspicious persons at the intersection of Camellia Road and Dogwood Road and the 3400 block of Blue Springs Road;
— Contact persons on the 1200 block South Mock Road and the 800 block of the Liberty Expressway Southeast;
— Fraud on the 2100 block of Habersham Road;
— Family violence on the 2800 block of Spring Flats Road;
— 911 hang-ups on the 800 block of Old Pretoria Road and the 500 block of Pine Bluff Road;
— Abandoned auto on the 500 block of the Liberty Expressway Southeast;
— Burglar alarm on the 3300 block of Leary Road.
ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least 26 calls from Saturday to the early hours of Tuesday, available reports show. Incidents included a motor vehicle and pedestrian accident, an animal rescue call, shorted electrical equipment, EMS assistance, a gas leak, police assistance, a downed power line, an overheated motor, a Dumpster fire, excessive heat or scorch burns, a woodland fire, grass fires, an unauthorized burning, smoke odor, an authorized controlled burn, a building fire and a trash fire.
DOUGHERTY EMS: Dougherty County Emergency Medical Service responded to a total of 52 calls on Monday, available reports show. Incidents included 35 medical calls, 16 trauma calls and one medical alert assistance call. The medical calls included five chest pain calls, five respiratory issues, three diabetic issues, three OB/labor issues, one altered mental status call, one miscellaneous pain call, one seizure and 16 various medical calls. Trauma calls included seven falls, five auto accident victims, three assaults and one laceration.
