ALBANY POLICE: The Albany Police Department responded to at least 12 calls on Wednesday and the early hours of Thursday available reports show. Incidents included:
— Theft by shoplifting on the 400 block of South Slappey Boulevard;
— Criminal trespass on the 1300 block of Gillespie Avenue;
— Theft by taking on the 100 block of South Westover Boulevard and the 2600 block of Dawson Road;
— Rape on the 500 block of North Cleveland Street;
— Entering auto on the 1200 block of Radium Springs Road;
— Burglary on the 500 block of Cherry Avenue and the 1300 block of Mercantile Drive;
— Theft of property on the 1300 block of Firestone Drive;
— Battery on the 800 block of North Davis Street;
— Scavenging on the 1200 block of Kingstown Court;
— DUI on the 1500 block of North Slappey Boulevard;
DOUGHERTY POLICE: The Dougherty County Police Department responded to at least 17 calls on Wednesday and the early hours of Thursday available reports show. Incidents included:
— Disorderly conduct on the 400 block of South Westover Boulevard;
— Assist motorist on the 100 block of South County Line Road and at the intersection of East Oakridge Drive, the 400 block of Red bud Drive and Radium Springs Road;
— 911 hang-up on the 6100 block of Hardup Road and the 1700 block of Oakhaven Drive;
— Auto accident on the 4500 block of Gillionville Road;
— Suspicious person on the 900 block of River Pointe Drive and the 100 block of North Rosewood Drive;
— Suspicious auto on the 3200 block of Sylvester Road;
— Animal at large on the 900 block of Bass Drive and the 3300 block of Sylvester Highway;
— Civil call on the 5400 block of Newton Road;
— Cat call on the 3500 block of Sylvester Highway;
— Abandoned auto at the intersection of Liberty Expressway and Holly Drive;
— Motor vehicle theft on the 500 block of Pine Bluff Road;
— Demented person on the 2500 block of South Hibiscus Road;
ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least three calls on Wednesday and the early hour of Thursday available reports show. Incidents included:
— Cooking fire on the 600 block of West Society Avenue;
— Gasoline leak at the intersection of west Broad Avenue and Lennox Street;
— Unauthorized burning on the 3100 block of Fernridge Drive.
DOUGHERTY EMS: The Dougherty County EMS responded to at least 47 calls on Wednesday and the early hours of Thursday available reports show. Incidents included nine respiratory calls, four chest pain calls, one altered mental state call, one seizure call, one labor call, one miscellaneous pain call, one mental health call and 29 various medical calls. Trauma calls included seven auto accident calls and two laceration calls.
