ALBANY — The Dougherty County Police Department responded to at least 28 calls from Thursday and into early Saturday, available reports show. The incidents included:
— Assist motorist on the 3500 block of Fleming Road;
— Auto accident on the 800 block of Westview Drive;
— Bank escort on the 700 block of Philema Road;
— Burglary alarm on the 2500 block of Morehouse Lane;
— Civil matter on the 300 block of Pryor Street, the 100 block of Redbud Road;
— Contact person on the 3900 block of Harris Road;
— Discharging firearm at Paulk Drive and Howard Drive;
— Disorderly conduct on the 3200 block of Sylvester Road;
— Family violence on 500 block of Sportsman’s Club Road, the 3200 block of Sylvester Road, the 3200 block of War Eagle Drive;
— Fraud on the 100 block of Donerail Drive;
— Harassing phone call on the 600 block of Pine Glen Drive;
— Juvenile problem on the 3500 block of Hamilton Drive, the 500 block of Old Pretoria Road;
— Loud music on the 500 block of Pine Bluff Road;
— Man down on the 1400 block of South Mock Road;
— Residential alarm on the 2300 block of Pendleton Street;
— Suspicious auto on the 4400 block of Acree Avenue, the 400 block of Moultrie Road;
— Suspicious person on the 5800 block of Newton Road, the 1200 block of South Westover Boulevard; the 600 block of Holly Drive, at Mock Road and Moultrie Road;
— Theft by taking on the 3900 block of Moultrie Road;
— Traffic arrest at the intersection of Liberty Expressway Southeast and Nelms Road.
ALBANY POLICE: The Albany Police Department responded to at least 30 calls from Thursday. The incidents included:
— Criminal trespass on the 2700 block of North Slappey Boulevard; on the 300 block of Cordele Road; and the 2400 block of North Slappey Boulevard;
— Burglary -first degree on the 2200 block of South Washington Street; the 700 block of West Gordon Avenue; and the 3100 block of Fernridge Drive;
— Entering auto on the 600 block of Gaines Avenue; the 2000 block of Flintlock Drive; and the 100 block of Bridges Lane;
— Simple battery on the 1100 block of Swift Avenue;
— Family violence on the 800 Block of West 1st Avenue;
— Suspended license on the 1500 block of 1500 North Slappey Boulevard;
— Criminal damage to property on the 2600 block of Crossbow Lane;
— Shoplifting on the 2600 block of Dawson Road;
— Terroristic threats and acts on the 1500 block of Maple Street;
— Theft by taking on the 300 block of South Mock Road;
— Suicide attempt on the 200 block of Thornton Road;
— Disorderly conduct on the 700 block of Wheeler Avenue.
ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least 11 calls on Thursday and into early Friday, available reports show. The incidents included EMS assistance, a building fire, a trailer fire, smoke detector activation, alarm activation, heat from a short circuit and a breakdown of a light ballast.
DOUGHERTY EMS: On Thursday, Dougherty County Emergency Medical Service responded to a total of 58 calls, available reports show. There were 40 medical calls, 15 trauma calls, one medical alert activation, one transfer and one stand-by for the APD.
The medical calls included one chest pain, nine respiratory issues, one abdominal pain/problem, one headache, 18 general sicknesses, three diabetic issues, one obstetrics call, two seizures, one mental health/abnormal behavior call, two cardiac arrests/deaths and one unknown problem/man down. The trauma calls included eight accidents, four falls, two assaults and one traumatic injury.
