ALBANY POLICE: The Albany Police Department responded to at least 24 calls on Thursday and the early hours of Friday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:

— Criminal trespass on the 2300 block of West Gordon Avenue, the 1100 block of Whispering Pines Road, the 200 block of Cordele Road and the 300 block of Garden Hill Drive;

— Burglaries in the first degree on the 800 block of Dorsett Avenue, the 1300 block of West Fourth Avenue and the 2500 block of Bascom Drive;

— Thefts by taking on the 600 block of Sandalwood Circle, the 1200 block of Cromartie Beach Drive and the 500 block of Don Cutler Sr. Drive;

— Burglaries in the second degree on the 1600 block of North Slappey Boulevard and the 1600 block of Camp Lane;

— Entering autos on the 800 block of Corn Avenue and the 800 block of Lippitt Drive;

— Missing person on the 1200 block of Gary Avenue;

— Aggravated assault on the 1200 block of West Waddell Avenue;

— Stop sign violation on the 2100 block of Schley Avenue;

— Open container on the 300 block of South Slappey Boulevard;

— Deceased person on the 200 block of Cordele Road;

— Theft of lost or mislaid property on the 2400 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Drive;

— Simple battery on the 200 block of North Mock Road;

— Disorderly conduct on the 2500 block of North Slappey Boulevard;

— Theft by shoplifting on the 2600 block of Dawson Road;

— Giving false name, address or date of birth to law enforcement on the 2700 block of North Slappey Boulevard.

DOUGHERTY POLICE: Dougherty County Police responded to at least 20 calls on Thursday and the early hours of Friday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:

— Contact persons on the 3300 block of Sweetbrier Road, the 3400 block of Sylvester Highway and the 400 block of Lumpkin Street;

— Burglar alarms on the 3200 block of Pinyon Drive, the 5400 block of Kalmia Court and the 2600 block of Crofton Drive;

— Trees down on the 3600 block of Spring Flats Road and the 4500 block of Harris Road;

— Auto accident at the intersection of the Liberty Expressway Southeast and Nelms Road;

— Theft by taking on Mudcreek Road;

— Speeding auto on the 5000 block of Doles Road;

— Suspicious person on the 1700 block of Lily Pond Road;

— Animal call on the 400 block of Poinciana Avenue;

— Family violence on the 500 block of Pine Bluff Road;

— Harassing phone calls on the 3300 block of Sylvester Highway;

— Miscellaneous damage to property on the 1400 block of Old Pretoria Road;

— Animal running at large on the 2300 block of Radium Springs Road;

— Criminal trespass on the 2200 block of Duitman Road;

— Assist motorist on the 2500 block of Fleming Road;

— Personal welfare check on the 4400 block of Jimmy Goff Court.

ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least eight calls on Thursday and the early hours of Friday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:

— Medical assists on the 2700 block of West Oakridge Drive, the 200 block of Cordele Road and the 1000 block of West Fourth Avenue;

— Arching or shorted electrical wires on the 1600 block of Lynwood Lane;

— Smoke scare on the 700 block of Oglethorpe Boulevard;

— Motor vehicle accident at the intersection of Fifth Avenue and North Slappey Boulevard;

— Power line down on the 2300 block of Cascade Lane;

— Oil or other combustible liquid at the intersection of Fleming Road and Short Street.

DOUGHERTY EMS: Dougherty County EMS responded to at least 43 calls on Thursday and the early hours of Friday, available reports indicate. Incidents included 11 respiratory issue calls, three altered mental status calls, two seizure calls, two mental health calls, two miscellaneous pain calls, one labor call and 22 various medical calls. Trauma calls included 10 auto accidents, nine falls, and one laceration. Other types of calls included one medical alert assistance call.
