ALBANY POLICE: The Albany Police Department responded to at least eight calls on Monday and the early hours of Tuesday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:

— Deceased person on the 300 block of North Slappey Boulevard;

— Simple battery on the 1500 block of Elva Street;

— Thefts by taking on the 1600 block of Gardner Drive and the 100 block of Gurr Drive;

— Burglary in the first degree on the 1900 block of South Riverview Circle;

— Child in need of services on the 600 block of West Society Avenue;

— Disorderly conduct on the 400 block of South Slappey Boulevard;

— Interfering with city officers on the 1400 block of Baker Avenue.

DOUGHERTY POLICE: Dougherty County Police responded to at least 13 calls on Monday and the early hours of Tuesday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:

— Traffic arrests on the 700 block of Philema Road and on the corner of the Liberty Expressway Southeast and Williamsburg Road.

— Suspicious autos on the 3300 block of Sylvester Highway and the 1600 block of Cordele Road;

— Personal welfare checks on the 400 block of Poinciana Avenue and the 400 block of Pine Glen Drive;

— Auto accidents on the 2600 block of Calvary Road and the corner of Beattie Road and Gillionville Road;

— Demented person on the 4500 block of Seymore Lane;

— Animal calls on the 4800 block of Pinto Drive and the 3700 block of Plumcrest Avenue;

— Contact person on the 2100 block of Habersham Road;

— Miscellaneous call on the corner of Cordele Road and Doles Road.

ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least two calls on Monday and the early hours of Tuesday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:

— Unauthorized burning on the 500 block of Cherry Avenue;

— EMS call on the 300 block of North Slappey Boulevard.

DOUGHERTY EMS: Dougherty County EMS responded to at least 51 calls on Monday and the early hours of Tuesday, available reports indicate. Incidents included one chest pain call, one abdominal pain call, seven respiratory issue calls, 11 general sickness calls, two back pain calls, one fainting call, one altered mental status call, two stroke calls, one headache call, four unknown calls, one diabetic call, three seizure calls, five abnormal behavior calls and one cardiac arrest call. Trauma calls included one auto accident, six falls and one laceration. Other types of calls included two medical alert activations.
