ALBANY POLICE: The Albany Police Department responded to at least 28 calls on Tuesday and into the early hours of Wednesday, available reports indicate. The incidents included:

— Aggravated assaults on the 2000 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Drive and the 400 block of West Oglethorpe Boulevard;

— Batteries on Transvilla Parkway and the 1300 block of East Second Avenue;

— Child in need of services on the 1200 block of Avalon Avenue;

— Warrant service reports on the 1000 block of East Fourth Avenue and the 1400 block of Dawson Road;

— Criminal trespasses on the 700 block of South Harding Street, the 1900 block of Edgerly Avenue and the 400 block of West Oglethorpe Boulevard;

— Transmitting a false public alarm on the 2700 block of Dawson Road;

— Possession of marijuana on the 1900 block of Churchill Drive and the 900 block of Lippitt Drive;

— Statutory rape on Cason Street;

— Burglaries on the 1500 block of West Waddell Avenue, the 2800 block of Palmyra Road, the 600 block of Pinecrest Drive, the 1100 block of Mary Avenue and the 200 block of Barfield Avenue;

— Thefts by taking on the 1000 block of South Madison Street and the 3000 block of Kensington Court;

— Theft by shoplifting on the 200 block of Cordele Road;

— Disorderly conduct on the 1200 block of Kingstown Court;

— Simple battery on the 2500 block of Brookhaven Court;

— Entering auto on the 500 block of Edgewood Lane;

— Terroristic threats and acts on the 1200 block of Kingstown Court;

— Injured person on the 2700 block of Ledo Road.

DOUGHERTY POLICE: The Dougherty County Police Department responded to at least six calls on Tuesday and into the early hours of Wednesday, available reports indicate. The incidents included:

— Traffic arrest at the intersection of Liberty Expressway and Holly Drive;

— Thefts by taking on the 3200 block of Sylvester Road and the 5200 block of Leary Road;

— Auto accidents at the intersection of Clark Avenue and Cordele Road and the intersection of Clark Avenue and Pine Bluff Road;

— Suspicious auto on the 1600 block of 1600 block of River Point Drive.

ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least 11 calls on Tuesday and into the early hours of Wednesday, available reports indicate. The incidents included:

— Motor vehicle accidents at the intersection of North Slappey Boulevard and Seventh Avenue, the 1800 block of Dawson Road, the intersection of Liberty Expressway and North Jefferson Street, the 900 block of Liberty Expressway and the intersection of Clark Avenue and Pine Bluff Road;

— Cooking fire on the 1800 block of North Slappey Boulevard;

— Arcing or shorted electrical equipment on the 1100 block of West Gordon Avenue;

— Structure fire on the 1700 block of East Broad Avenue;

— Bomb scare on the 2700 block of Dawson Road;

— Emergency medical assistance on the 2600 block of Great Oak Street.

DOUGHERTY EMS: The Dougherty County Emergency Medical Service responded to at least 52 calls on Tuesday and into the early hours of Wednesday, available reports indicate.

The medical calls included two chest pains, two abdominal pains/problems, one unknown/man down, six respiratory issues, 18 general sicknesses, one fainting, two strokes, three seizures, one cardiac arrest/death and one other medical call.

The trauma calls included one overdose, seven auto accident victims, three falls, two lacerations and one assault. The other calls included two stand-bys for the APD and two transports.
