ALBANY POLICE: The Albany Police Department responded to at least 22 calls on Wednesday and into the early hours of Thursday, available reports indicate. The incidents included:
— First-offense battery/family violence on the first block of Transvilla Parkway;
— Aggravated assault, firearm, on the 2000 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Drive;
— Simple battery, family violence, on the 300 block of North Slappey Boulevard;
— Possession of spice/synthetic marijuana at the intersection of West Broad Avenue and South Jefferson Street;
— Criminal trespass on the 800 block of Cameo Lane and the 1200 block of Sharon Avenue;
— Entering autos on the 800 block of Cameo Lane and the 1500 block of West Second Avenue;
— Second-degree criminal damage to property on the 200 block of Cordele Road;
— Disorderly conduct on the 600 block of North Westover Boulevard, the 2700 block of Dawson Road and the 1500 block of Dawson Road;
— Thefts by taking on the 500 block of West Residence Avenue, the 400 block of West Third Avenue and the 1700 block of Myrtle Road;
— Thefts by shoplifting on the 2600 block of Dawson Road;
— DUI on the 600 block of South Slappey Boulevard;
— Suicide attempt on the 100 block of Whittlesey Court.
DOUGHERTY POLICE: The Dougherty County Police Department responded to at least nine calls on Wednesday and into the early hours of Thursday, available reports indicate. The incidents included:
— Auto accident on the 1700 block of Liberty Expressway Southeast;
— Juvenile problem on the 3100 block of War Eagle Drive;
— Terroristic threats on the 3300 block of War Eagle Drive;
— Burglary alarm on the 1000 block of Butternut Avenue;
— Fraud on the 4000 block of Quail Hollow Road;
— Burglaries on the 1300 block of Congressional Court and the 2400 block of Lily Pond Road;
— Traffic stop on the 2200 block of Clark Avenue;
— Personal welfare check on the 2300 block of Liberty Expressway Southeast.
ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department shift reports were unavailable on Thursday.
DOUGHERTY EMS: The Dougherty County Emergency Medical Service responded to at least 50 calls on Wednesday and into the early hours of Thursday, available reports indicate.
The medical calls included four abdominal pains/problems, one back pain, two chest pains, three respiratory issues, 13 general sicknesses, three altered mental statuses, two diabetic issues, two seizures, one cardiac arrest/death and one other medical call.
The trauma calls included two overdoses, six auto accidents, eight falls and one assault. The other calls included one medical alert activation call.
