ALBANY POLICE: The Albany Police Department responded to at least 12 calls on Wednesday and the early hours of Thursday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:
— Burglary on the 300 block of South Mock Road;
— Terroristic threats and acts on the 500 block of South McKinley Street;
— Forgery on the 2400 block of North Slappey Boulevard;
— Deceased person on the 100 block of Wells Avenue;
— Thefts by taking on the 1800 block of West Gordon Avenue and the 600 block of 16th Avenue;
— Disorderly conduct on the 2500 block of North Slappey Boulevard;
— Entering auto on the 1900 block of Palmyra Road;
— Criminal trespass on the 200 block of East Oglethorpe Boulevard, the 1500 block of Malone Drive and the 2500 block of Redwood Court.
— Hit and run fatality on the 300 block of Tift Avenue.
DOUGHERTY POLICE: The Dougherty County Police Department responded to at least 15 calls on Wednesday and the early hours of Thursday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:
— Injured animal on the 2200 block of the Liberty Expressway;
— Suspicious autos on the 2000 block of Old Dominion Road, the 2300 block of the Liberty Expressway, the 2300 block of Sanborn Avenue and the 4400 block of Acree Avenue;
— Auto accident on the 300 block of Eight Mile Road;
— Assist motorists on the 600 block of Holly Drive and the 400 block of South Westover Boulevard;
— Criminal trespass on the 800 block of Notre Dame Avenue and the 3100 block of Nelms Road;
— Abandoned auto on the 2600 block of Birchwood Drive;
— Animals at large on the 1900 block of Old Dominon Road and the 3600 block of Spring Flats Road;
— Child molestation on the 1200 block of Lily Pond Road;
— Forgery on the 4400 block of Acree Avenue.
ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least seven calls on Wednesday and the early hours of Thursday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:
— Animal rescue on the 4800 block of Mustang Drive;
— EMS assists on the 900 block of South Westover Boulevard and the 700 block of Holloway Avenue;
— Water leak on the 3000 block of Dove Avenue;
— Building fires on the 100 block of Wells Avenue and the 2200 block of South Jackson Street;
— Hit and run on the 300 block of Tift Avenue.
DOUGHERTY EMS: Dougherty County EMS responded to at least 59 calls on Wednesday and the early hours of Thursday, available reports indicate. Incidents included five chest pain calls, seven respiratory issue calls, three fainting calls, one stroke call, one labor issue call, four cardiac arrest calls, two unknown problem calls and 20 general sickness calls. Trauma calls included five auto accidents, one auto/pedestrian accident, three falls, one laceration, one assault and two traumatic injuries. Other types of calls included one standby for AFD, one medical alert activation and one standby for a school function.
