ALBANY POLICE: The Albany police Department responded to at least 18 calls on Wednesday and the early hours of Thursday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:
— Criminal trespass on the 2400 block of North Slappey Boulevard, the 700 block of North Jackson Street and the 3200 block of Winterwood Avenue;
— Possession of a controlled substance on the 100 block of Marie Road;
— Armed robbery on the 1800 block of Samford Avenue;
— Disorderly conduct on the 2100 block of Juniper Drive, the 600 block of 11th Avenue and the 1000 block of West Oakridge Drive;
— Criminal damage to property on the 1300 block of Radium Springs Road;
— Forgeries on the 2200 block of North Slappey Boulevard and the 400 block of West Broad Avenue;
— Theft by shoplifting on the 100 block of Cordele Road;
— Battery on the 2200 block of Champaigne Lane and the 900 block of South Slappey Boulevard;
— Possession of marijuana on the 1000 block of Hobson Street;
— Burglaries on the 1600 block of Schley Avenue and the 1600 block of East Broad Avenue;
— Entering auto on the 200 block of Moultrie Road.
DOUGHERTY POLICE: The Dougherty County Police Department responded to at least 17 calls on Wednesday and the early hours of Thursday, available reports indicate. Incident included:
— Animal at large on the 4500 block of La Costa Drive;
— Suspicious persons on the 700 block of River Chase Lane and the 200 block of South Rosewood Drive;
— Family violence on the 1500 block of Antioch Road;
— Suspicious auto on the 3700 block of Parr Road;
— Traffic arrest on the 5900 block of Newton Road;
— Transport on the 2300 block of Southeast Liberty Expressway;
— Criminal trespass on the 2700 block of Banks Avenue;
— Burglary on the 3300 block of Sylvester Highway;
— Burglar alarms on the 900 block of Barbragale Avenue and the 500 block of Byron Plantation Road;
— Assist motorist on the 3200 block of Staton Drive;
— Property damage on the 700 block of Gable Road;
— Unwanted guest on the 800 block of Branch Road;
— Juvenile problem on the 3700 block of Plumcrest Avenue.
ALBANY FIRE: The Albany fire Department responded to at least six calls on Wednesday and the early hours of Thursday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:
— Auto accidents on the 2200 block of North Slappey Boulevard and the intersection of East Broad Avenue and North Broadway Street;
— Carbon monoxide alarm on the 1900 block of East Broad Avenue;
— Animal rescue on the 2500 block of Crescent Drive;
— Auto accident with fatality at the intersection of Southeast Liberty Expressway and Nottingham Way;
— Grass fire on the 100 block of Sunset Lane.
DOUGHERTY EMS: Dougherty County EMS responded to at least 73 calls on Wednesday and the early hours of Thursday, available reports indicate. Incidents included five chest pain calls, five respiratory issue calls, three altered mental state calls, two diabetic issue calls, two cardiac arrest calls, two seizure calls, three stroke victim calls, one labor call, one mental health call and 29 various medical calls. Trauma calls included nine auto accidents, seven falls and four lacerations.
