ALBANY POLICE: The Albany Police Department responded to at least 22 calls on Thursday and the early hours of Friday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:

— Thefts by shoplifting on the 2500 block of Dawson Road, the 200 block of South Slappey Boulevard, the 1000 block of North Slappey Boulevard, the 2300 block of East Oglethorpe Boulevard and the 2600 block of Dawson Road;

— Theft by taking on the 400 block of Faith Avenue;

— Entering autos on the 700 block of Willard Avenue, the 1300 block of Radium Springs Road and the 1200 block of North Westover Boulevard;

— Aggravated assault on the 500 block of Swift Street;

— Criminal trespass on the 800 block of Holloway Avenue, the 200 block of Marie Road and the 2300 block of Lamar Street;

— Runaway juvenile on the 2300 block of Dominion Court;

— Criminal damage to property on the 1200 block of Netherland Lane;

— Missing person on the 900 block of Cherry Avenue;

— Burglaries on the 800 block of North Jefferson Street and the 1400 block of Ken Gardens Road;

— Forgeries on the 1600 block and the 2200 block of East Oglethorpe Boulevard;

— Public indecency on the 100 block of South Davis Street.

DOUGHERTY POLICE: The Dougherty County Police Department responded to at least 17 calls on Thursday and the early hours of Friday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:

— Auto accident on the 1200 block of Anticoh Road;

— Child abuse on the 2400 block of Roxanna Road;

— Disorderly conduct on the 2100 block of Cordele Road;

— Suspicious persons on the 700 block of Philema Road and the 2500 block of Regina Road;

— Animals at large on the 400 block of Philema Road and the 5300 block of Doles Road;

— Suspicious autos on the 100 block of Redbud Road and the 2600 block of Cordele Road;

— Theft by taking on the 1500 block of Pecan Lane;

— Burglar alarms on the 200 block of Gatewood Drive, the 900 block of Barbragale Avenue and the 800 block of Liberty Expressway Southeast;

— Personal welfare check on the 600 block of Sapling Lane;

— Assist motorist on the 3300 block of Sylvester Highway;

— Loud music on the 400 block of South Westover Boulevard;

— Property damage on the 5100 block of Hill Road.

ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least eight calls on Thursday and the early hours of Friday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:

— Smoke scare on the 500 block of North Westover Boulevard;

— Building fire on the 1500 block of West Whitney Avenue;

— Passenger vehicle fire at the intersection of East Doublegate Drive and Old Dawson Road;

— Outside rubbish fire on the 2600 block of Partridge Drive;

— Brush fire on the 600 block of Johnny Williams Road;

— Authorized controlled burning on the 500 block of 10th Avenue;

— EMS assist on the 2900 block of West Oakridge Drive;

— Overheated motor on the 3200 block of Turnbridge Lane.

DOUGHERTY EMS: Dougherty County EMS responded to at least 62 calls on Thursday and the early hours of Friday, available reports indicate. Incidents included seven respiratory issue calls, five miscellaneous pain calls, four chest pain calls, three cardiac arrest calls, three seizure calls, two mental health calls, one faint call, one diabetic issue call and 21 various medical calls. Trauma calls included 10 auto accident victims and four falls. Other types of calls included one medical alert call.
