ALBANY — The Albany Police Department responded to at least 26 calls from Monday into the early hours of Tuesday, available reports show. Incidents included:
— Aggravated assault with a firearm on the 300 block of Hudson Avenue;
— Battery on the 1900 block of Riverview Court;
— Child in need of services on the 900 block of South Maple Street;
— Criminal trespass on the 1800 block of Melrose Drive, the 600 block of West Residence Avenue, the 1900 block of Meadow Drive, the 500 block of Hickory Lane, the 800 block of West First Avenue, the 200 block of South Slappey Boulevard, the 1100 block of Clark Avenue and the 1200 block of Crawford Drive;
— Disorderly conduct on the 1300 block of Hobson Street and the 30 block of Dobbs Drive;
— Driving while intoxicated (DWI) on the 100 block of Oakridge Drive;
— Entering auto on the 100 block of South Front Street;
— Injured person on the 2800 block of North Slappey Boulevard;
— Rape on the 400 block of Bush Street;
— Simple battery on the 1500 block of Beverly Avenue, the 300 block of Grant Place and the 700 block of Dorsett Avenue;
— Suicide/suicide attempt on the 200 block of Pine Bluff Road;
— Theft by shoplifting on the 200 block of Cordele Road;
— Thefts by taking on the 400 block of Mock Road, the 2500 block of Cardinal Street and the 900 block of West Society Avenue.
DOUGHERTY POLICE: The Dougherty County Police Department responded to at least 19 calls on Monday and the early hours of Tuesday, available reports show. Incidents included:
— Criminal trespass warning on the 300 block of Ospry Ridge Court;
— Suspicious person on the 3600 block of Radial Avenue;
— Criminal trespass on the first block of Georgia Power Road and the 3200 block of Ridgeway Drive;
— Traffic arrest on the 600 block of the Liberty Expressway Southeast;
— Inhumane treatment of animals on the 100 block of Mockingbird Drive and the 2800 block of Lonesome Road;
— Animal running at large on the 1200 block of Nixon Drive, the 2900 block of Thrasher Avenue, the 4800 block of Pinto Drive and the 3300 block of Sweetbrier Road;
— Missing person located at the 3900 block of Moultrie Road;
— Theft by taking on the 3000 block of Gillionville Road;
— Suspicious auto at the intersection of Strout Avenue and Radium Springs Road;
— Burglary on the 4000 block of Fleming Road;
— Fraud on the 6600 block of Hardup Road;
— Wanted person on the 3300 block of Sylvester Road;
— Burglar alarm on the 1400 block of Old Pretoria Road;
— Traffic arrest on the 600 block of the Liberty Expressway Southeast.
ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least six calls on Monday, available reports show. Incidents included shorted electrical equipment, a water leak, an alarm activation, EMS assistance and a building fire.
DOUGHERTY EMS: Dougherty County Emergency Medical Service responded to a total of 54 calls Monday, available reports show, including 46 medical calls, six trauma calls, a fire and one medical alert activation. Medical calls included seven chest pain calls, six respiratory issues, one abdominal pain/problem, one eye problem/injury, 18 general sickness calls, one fainting, one diabetic, two OB calls, two seizures, four cardiac arrests, one various medical type call and two unknown/men down calls. Trauma calls included two auto accidents, two falls, one laceration and one traumatic injury.
