ALBANY POLICE: The Albany Police Department responded to at least 32 incidents on Monday, available reports show. Incidents included:
— Obstruction of law enforcement on the 1300 block of South Davis Street;
— Theft of conversion on the 800 block of West Oglethorpe Boulevard;
— Truancy on the 1100 block of South McKinley Street;
— Criminal trespass on the 2500 block of Barnesdale Way, the 2400 block of Brierwood Drive and the 800 block of West Society Avenue;
— Unruly children on the 2300 block of Nottingham Way and the 1100 block of 11th Avenue;
— Family violence, unfounded, on the 400 block of Lucile Street;
— Second-degree criminal damage to property on the 2800 block of Palmyra Road;
— Disorderly conduct on the 200 block of Thornton Drive and the 300 block of West Highland Avenue;
— Criminal trespass, family violence, on the 500 block of Deer Court;
— First-degree burglaries on the 1300 block of Mulberry Avenue and the 600 block of Jefferies Avenue;
— Simple battery, family violence, on the 2000 block of North Skylane Drive and the 2500 block of Brierwood Drive;
— Thefts by taking on the 300 block of Cordele Road and the 1000 block of 1oth Avenue;
— Aggravated assault on the 1700 block of Edgerly Avenue;
— Computer theft on the 2300 block of North Slappey Boulevard;
— Robbery by sudden snatching on the 1400 block of Taft Street;
— Shoplifting on the 200 block of Cordele Road;
— Second-degree burglary on the 2800 block of Palmyra Road;
— Suicide attempt on the 1400 block of Greenbrier Court.
DOUGHERTY POLICE: Dougherty County Police responded to at least 25 calls on Monday and early Tuesday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:
— Family violence on the 3700 block of Countryside Drive, the 3000 block of East Park Court and the 300 block of East Oakridge Drive;
— Suspicious autos at the intersection of Holly Drive and Roxanna Road, the intersection of Leary Road and Eight Mile Road and the 800 block of Westview Drive;
— Animals running at large on the 1200 block of Antioch Road and the 400 block of Hollis Drive;
— Burglar alarms on the 2200 block of the Liberty Expressway Southeast, the 1000 block of Butternut Avenue, the 3100 block of War Eagle Drive, the 1600 block of Pecan Lane and the 5800 block of Newton Road;
— Contact persons on the 4400 block of Nichols Street, the 3200 block of War Eagle Drive, the 200 block of Gatewood Drive and the 2200 block of the Liberty Expressway Southeast;
— Residential burglaries on the 4800 block of Impala Lane and the 4800 block of Barnsway Drive;
— Business burglary on the 900 block of South County Line Road;
— Panhandling on the 2200 block of the Liberty Expressway Southeast;
— Fraud on the 1300 block of McKenzie Road;
— VIN verification on the 2700 block of Leary Road.
ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least 17 incidents on Monday and early Tuesday, available reports show. Incidents included:
— Removal of victims on the 800 block of West Residence Avenue;
— Motor vehicle accident on the 2600 block of Costner Court;
— Authorized controlled burn on the 1200 block of Hilltop Drive;
— Smoke detector activations on the 2300 block of Pendleton Street, the 400 block of Flint Avenue, the 2600 block of Cardinal Street and the 2000 block of Coves Court;
— Medical emergency assistance on the 2000 block of West Broad Avenue;
— Building fire on the 4400 block of North Creek Court;
— Alarm activations on the 500 block of Hickory Lane and the 2100 block of Schley Avenue;
— Grass fire on the 1000 block of East Fourth Avenue;
— Unauthorized burnings on the 200 block of Merritt Street and the 600 block of Bonny View Avenue;
— Arcing, shorted electrical equipment on the 700 block of Mobile Avenue.
DOUGHERTY EMS: Dougherty County Emergency Medical Services responded to at least 50 calls on Monday, available reports indicate. Medical calls included three chest pain calls, one abdominal pain/problem, one allergic reaction/sting, one lift assistance, one heart problem, seven respiratory issues, 15 general sickness calls, two altered mental statuses, two strokes, two diabetic issues, two abnormal behavior/suicide attempts and one cardiac arrest/death. Trauma calls included one traumatic injury, one auto accident, three falls, two assaults and one fire. Other calls included three transports and one medical alert activation.
