ALBANY POLICE: The Albany Police Department responded to at least 19 calls on Monday and the early hours of Tuesday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:
— Aggravated assaults on the 1300 block of East Residence Avenue, the 300 block of South Jefferson Street, the 1900 block of Elkhorn Lane, the 2300 block of Evergreen Drive, the 1600 block of Sunny Lane and the 2300 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Drive;
— Reckless conduct/shots fired on the 300 block of South Ingleside Drive;
— Disorderly conduct on the 300 block of Pine Avenue and the 600 block of North Davis Street;
— Pointing at gun at a person on the 300 block of South Mock Road;
— Thefts by taking on the 800 block of Corn Avenue, the 800 block of East Oglethorpe Boulevard and the 100 block of East Oglethorpe Boulevard;
— Child in need of services on the 1500 block of 11th Avenue;
— Obstruction of officers on the 300 block of South Ingleside Drive;
— Criminal trespass on the 100 block of Westcott Lane and the 700 block of Cotton Avenue;
— Forgery on the 100 block of North Slappey Boulevard;
— Burglary on the 800 block of Corn Avenue.
DOUGHERTY POLICE: The Dougherty County Police Department responded to at least seven calls on Monday and the early hours of Tuesday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:
— Child abuse on the 1900 block of Old Dominion Road;
— Personal welfare check on the 1500 block of Hancock Road;
— Auto accident on the 1500 block of Eight Mile Road;
— Suspicious autos on the 100 block of Georgia Power Road and the 700 block of South County Line Road;
— Disorderly conduct on the 100 block of South Westover Boulevard;
— Traffic stop on the 2400 block of Jewel Street.
ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least eight calls on Monday and the early hours of Tuesday, available reports indicate, incidents included:
— Extrication of vehicle at the intersection of Habersham Road and West Oakridge Drive;
— EMS assists on the 1900 block of Palmyra Road, the 200 block of West Third Avenue and the 2000 block of Evergreen Drive;
— Arcing electrical on the 100 block of North Haley Street;
— Overheated motor on the 1000 block of Davidson Drive;
— Unauthorized burning on the 1800 block of East Broad Avenue;
— Building fire on the 300 block of Moultrie Road;
DOUGHERTY EMS: Dougherty County EMS responded to at least 50 calls on Monday and the early hours of Tuesday, available reports indicate. Incidents included three chest pain calls, three headache calls, four respiratory issue calls, one fainting call, one labor call, two mental health calls, four cardiac arrest calls, one various medical type call and 19 general sickness calls. Trauma calls included one overdose, seven auto accidents, one fall, one assault and one traumatic injury. Other types of calls included one medical alert activation.
