ALBANY POLICE: The Albany Police Department responded to at least 14 calls on Tuesday and the early hours of Wednesday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:
— Reckless conduct on the 500 block of South Slappey Boulevard;
— Burglary on the 200 block of Glade Lane;
— Criminal trespass on the 600 block of West Society Avenue, the 900 block of 18th Avenue and the 500 block of 16th Avenue;
— Deceased person on the 900 block of Willow Oak Court;
— Obstruction of officers on the 1200 block of Sixth Avenue;
— Injured person on the 500 block of South McKinley Street;
— Entering autos on the 2300 block of Greenleaf Lane, the 2200 block of Lionel Lane, the 1900 block of Meadow Drive, the 600 block of Louis Avenue and the 800 block of McIntosh Road;
— Theft by shoplifting on the 2800 block of Nottingham Way.
DOUGHERTY POLICE: The Dougherty County Police Department responded to at least five calls on Tuesday and the early hours of Wednesday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:
— Family violence on the 3000 block of Tiger Court and the 300 block of Gatewood Drive;
— Suspicious persons on the 200 block of Philema Road and the 100 block of Georgia Power Road;
— Theft by taking on the 3900 block of Moultrie Road.
ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least seven calls on Tuesday and the early hours of Wednesday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:
— Alarm activation on the 2000 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Drive;
— Animal rescue on the 1400 block of Eager Drive;
— EMS assist on the 900 block of Willow Oak Court;
— Auto accident at the intersection of Meredyth Drive and North Westover Boulevard;
— Removal of person stuck in elevator on the 300 block of Pine Avenue;
— Building fire on the 3000 block of Kensington Court;
— Public service on the 300 block of North Slappey Boulevard.
DOUGHERTY EMS: Dougherty EMS responded to at least 54 calls on Tuesday and the early hours Wednesday, available reports indicate. Incidents included one chest pain call, 10 breathing difficulty problems, nine general sickness problems, three fainting calls, one altered mental state call, three diabetic issue calls, one seizure call, one mental health call, three cardiac arrest calls, four miscellaneous calls and two abdominal pain calls. Trauma calls included six auto accident victims, five falls, one laceration, two assaults and one gunshot wound. Other types of calls included one medical alert activation.
