ALBANY POLICE: The Albany Police Department responded to at least 17 calls on Tuesday and the early hours of Wednesday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:

— Burglaries on the 2400 block of Sylvester Highway, the 500 block of Pinson Road and the 2500 block of Wexford Drive;

— Theft by taking on the 1200 block of North Westover Boulevard;

— Suicide attempt on the 2100 block of West Gordon Avenue;

— Distributing obscene materials on the 2800 block of Partridge Drive;

— Assault on the 2500 block of Crescent Drive;

— Disorderly conduct on the 200 block of Cordele Road, the 1400 block of Newton Road and the 500 block of Swift Street;

— Battery on the 1000 block of South McKinley Street and the 2300 block of North Davis Street;

— Financial transaction card fraud on the 300 block of West Second Avenue;

— Criminal trespass on the 1900 block of Palmyra Road;

— Cruelty to animals on the 200 block of Morningside Drive;

— Statutory rape on the 1300 block of East Broad Avenue;

— Interfering with city officers on the 500 block of West Roosevelt Avenue.

DOUGHERTY POLICE: The Dougherty County Police Department responded to at least 19 calls on Tuesday and the early hours of Wednesday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:

— Juvenile problems on the 1300 block of Old Pretoria Road and the 3300 block of Sweetbrier Road;

— Assist motorist on the 2700 block of North Jefferson Street;

— 911 hang-up on the 1500 block of Nelms Road;

— Suspicious person on the 500 block of Champion Avenue;

— Suspicious autos on the 3000 block of Clark Avenue and the intersection of Moultrie Road and Mock Road;

— Discharging firearm on the 1000 block of River Pointe Drive;

— Auto accidents with injuries on the 2100 block of South County Line Road and the 900 block of Gaissert Road;

— Animal calls on the 400 block of Pine Bluff Road and the 700 block of Cordele Road;

— Burglary on the 100 block of Camellia Road;

— Auto accident, hit and run, on the 5400 block of Newton Road;

— Animal at large on the 1700 block of Nelms Road;

— Theft by taking on the 500 block of Champion Avenue;

— Auto accident on the 200 block of South County Line Road;

— Disorderly conduct on the 3400 block of Sylvester Highway;

— Demented person on the 3200 block of Pinyon Drive.

ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least three calls on Tuesday and the early hours of Wednesday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:

— Animal rescue on the 1000 block of Westview Drive;

— Lock-in on the 600 block of West Society Avenue;

— Unauthorized burning on the 2500 block of South Madison Street.

DOUGHERTY EMS: Dougherty County EMS responded to at least 60 calls on Tuesday and the early hours of Wednesday, available reports indicate. Incidents included 12 respiratory issue calls, four seizure calls, four miscellaneous pain calls, three chest pain calls, three stroke victim calls, one altered mental state call, one labor issue call, one diabetic issue call and 19 various medical calls. Trauma calls included four falls, one auto accident victim and one laceration. Other types of calls included two medical alert assistance calls.
