ALBANY — The Albany Police Department responded to at least 32 calls on Tuesday, available reports show. Incidents included:
— Entering autos on the 1700 block of West Oakridge Drive, the 200 block of Lippitt Drive and the 2100 block of Locksley Lane;
— First-degree forgery on the 2000 block of East Oglethorpe Boulevard;
— Thefts by taking on the 200 block of Slater King Drive, the 600 block of Johnson Road, the 500 block of Swift Street and the 700 block of Andover Lane;
— Criminal trespass on the 800 block of North Westover Boulevard, the 900 block of West Second Avenue, the 300 block of Lucille Street and the 700 block of Cedar Avenue;
— Panhandling on the 2600 block of North Slappey Boulevard;
— Theft by deception on the 1800 block of Mississippi Avenue;
— Computer theft on the 2700 block of Dawson Road;
— Disorderly conduct on the 1400 block of Dawson Road;
— Public indecency at the intersection of 11th Avenue and Palmyra Road;
— Aggravated assault, firearm, on the 2000 block of North Riverview Circle;
— Cruelty to animals on the 400 block of Louis Avenue;
— Simple battery, family violence, on the 500 block of South Valencia Drive and the 1300 block of McKan Street;
— Shoplifting on the 1000 block of North Slappey Boulevard;
— First-degree burglaries on the 1400 block of East Residence Avenue and the 1300 block of Fifth Avenue;
— Suspended, revoked license on the 2300 block of Stuart Avenue;
— Injured person on the 2200 block of North Slappey Boulevard;
— Family violence, unfounded, on the 1600 block of Pineview Avenue and the 1300 block of Colquitt Avenue.
DOUGHERTY POLICE: The Dougherty County Police Department responded to at least 19 calls on Tuesday and early Wednesday, available reports show. Incidents included:
— Assistance to motorists on the 3400 block of Sylvester Road and the 5300 block of Doles Road;
— Personal welfare check on the 4800 block of Pinto Drive;
— Open door on the 4900 block of Hill Road;
— Burglar alarms on the 5800 block of Newton Road and the 3900 block of Pecan Grove Court;
— Traffic stop on the 400 block of Philema Road;
— Family violence on the 3200 block of War Eagle Drive and the 400 block of South Westover Boulevard;
— Auto accident on the 5000 block of Leary Road;
— Contact persons on the 900 block of Barbragale Avenue and the 800 block of Shelton Drive;
— Suspicious person on the 5700 block of Newton Road;
— Fraud on the 2500 block of Homestead Avenue;
— Motor vehicle theft on the 3400 block of Aristedes Road;
— Attempt to contact on the 1200 block of Antioch Road;
— Unwanted guest on the 5200 block of Doles Road;
— Residential burglary on the 2200 block of Duitman Road;
— Disorderly conduct on the 4400 block of Acree Avenue.
ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least 20 calls on Monday, Tuesday and early Wednesday, available reports show. Incidents included:
— Gas distribution on the 1100 block of Gillionville Road;
— Emergency medical assistance on the 1900 block of West Oakridge Drive, the 2200 block of Heather Drive, the 200 block of West Society Avenue and the intersection of Fifth Avenue and North Washington Street;
— Motor vehicle accidents on the 800 block of West Gordon Avenue and the 5000 block of Leary Road;
— Smoke or odor removal on the 400 block of Hudson Lane;
— Trash fire on the 2700 block of McLain Lane;
— Unauthorized burnings on the 200 block of Edison Drive and the 1400 block of West Whitney Avenue;
— Lock-in on the 2200 block of Gillionville Road;
— Water or steam leak on the 2000 block of North Riverview Circle;
— Breakdown of light ballast on the 2700 block of Meredyth Drive;
— Arcing, shorted electrical equipment on the 2500 block of Ridgewood Lane;
— Alarm system activation on the 2500 block of North Slappey Boulevard.
DOUGHERTY EMS: Dougherty County Emergency Medical Services responded to at least 63 calls on Tuesday, available reports show. Medical calls included four chest pain calls, two abdominal pain/problems, seven respiratory issues, 24 general sickness calls, one altered mental status, one stroke, one diabetic issue, one unknown problem/man down, two abnormal behavior/suicide attempts, one cardiac arrest/death and one other medical call. Trauma calls included one auto accident, nine falls, four lacerations, three assaults and one burn.
