ALBANY POLICE: The Albany Police Department responded to at least 14 calls on Thursday and the early hours of Friday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:

— DUI on the 200 block of Radium Springs Road;

— Thefts by taking on the 700 block of West Highland Avenue and the 700 block of Ninth Avenue;

— Entering autos on the 1400 block of Greenbrier Court, the 2700 block of Elton Street, the 700 block of North Madison Street and the 200 block of West Broad Avenue;

— Battery on the 300 block of Station Crossing Drive and the 500 block of Dorsett Avenue;

— Disorderly conduct on the 300 block of West Highland Avenue, the 1000 block of Sixth Avenue, the 800 block of Cotton Avenue and the 800 block of Rosedale Avenue;

— Assault on the 900 block of Wheeler Avenue.

DOUGHERTY POLICE: The Dougherty County Police Department responded to at least 19 calls on Thursday and the early hours of Friday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:

— Theft by taking on the 6000 block of James Drive;

— Family violence on the 3300 block of Twin Flower Road and the 2900 block of Swallow Avenue;

— Suspicious auto on the 2700 block of Astoria Drive;

— Contact persons on the 1700 block of Wildflower Lane and the 4500 block of Gillionville Road;

— Disabled motorist on the 3000 block of Radium Springs Drive;

— Burglar alarm on the 6000 block of Jenkins Road;

— Entering autos on the 6000 block of James Drive and several incidents on the 6000 block of Elliot Drive;

— Assist motorist on the 1400 block of Southeast Liberty Expressway;

— Animal call on the 2800 block of Leary Road;

— Personal welfare check on the 600 block of Southgate Avenue;

— Civil call on the 3300 block of Sylvester Highway;

— Demented person on the 1600 block of Dorough Avenue;

— Pointing a gun at another on the 3300 block of Sylvester Highway;

— Attempt to locate on the 3300 block of Sylvester Highway.

ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least five calls on Thursday and the early hours of Friday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:

— Passenger vehicle fire on the 400 block of Society Avenue;

— Building fire on the 400 block of Society Avenue;

— Arcing electrical on the 500 block of Robinson Avenue;

— Grass fire on the 5600 block of Hill Road;

— Outside equipment fire on the 1300 block of Bayhill Lane.

DOUGHERTY EMS: Dougherty County EMS responded to at least 54 calls on Thursday and the early hours of Friday, available reports indicate. Incidents included two abdominal pain calls, two altered mental state calls, one animal bite call, 10 breathing problem calls, six chest pain calls, two choking calls, two fall victim calls, 11 general sickness calls, one headache call, one laceration call, four medical alarm calls, one seizure call, one gunshot wound call, one standby call, two traffic accident calls, one traumatic injury call, two unconscious calls, two unknown problem calls and two other types of calls.
