ALBANY — The Albany Police Department responded to at least 40 calls on Tuesday, available reports show. Incidents included:
— Family violence, unfounded, on the 1200 block of Eager Road;
— Disorderly conduct on the 1100 block of Swift Street, the 600 block of 11th Avenue and the 1100 block of West Whitney Avenue;
— Battery on the 200 block of Thornton Drive and the 1900 block of South Riverview Circle;
— Theft of lost/mislaid property on the 2700 block of Mclain Lane and the 2000 block of North Slappey Boulevard;
— Theft by taking on the 400 block of West Oglethorpe Boulevard, the 600 block of South Slappey Boulevard and the 2100 block of North Monroe Street;
— First-degree burglary on the 1700 block of Melrose Drive;
— Shoplifting on the 1900 block of East Oglethorpe Boulevard, the 100 block of South Westover Boulevard and the 2600 block of Gillionville Road;
— Criminal trespass on the 1400 block of South Van Buren Street, the 600 block of South Slappey Boulevard, the 1500 block of Georgia Avenue, the 2400 block of Bassford Lane, the 2300 block of Wills Court, the 900 block of Bonnyview Avenue and the 300 block of Cordele Road;
— Terroristic threats and acts on the 2500 block of Stuart Avenue;
— Entering auto on the 2500 block of Buck Court, the 2300 block of Katy Court, the 2700 block of Mclain Lane and the 1500 block of West Highland Avenue;
— Simple battery on the 400 block of West Third Avenue;
— Open container on the 200 block of East Oglethorpe Boulevard;
— Aggravated assault, family violence, on the 500 block of South Shadowlawn Drive;
— Aggravated assault on the 200 block of South Carroll Street and the 1200 block of West Highland Avenue;
— Armed robbery on the 1000 block of South Monroe Street;
— Simple battery, family violence, on the 500 block of Emily Avenue;
— Second-degree criminal damage to property on the 2000 block of Lafayette Circle.
DOUGHERTY POLICE: The Dougherty County Police Department responded to at least 14 calls on Tuesday and early Wednesday, available reports show. Incidents included:
— Disorderly conduct on the 400 block of West Third Avenue;
— Burglary alarm on the 2800 block of Fleming Road, the 1800 block of Antioch Road and the 6100 block of Elliott Drive;
— Auto accident on the 2800 block of North Jefferson Street;
— Assistance to a motorist at the intersection of Martin Luther King Jr. Drive and Sweetbrier Road, the 1200 block of Moultrie Road and the 100 block of South County Line Road;
— Contact person on the 3300 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Drive;
— Demented person on the 4600 block of Palm Avenue;
— Animal at large on the 4100 block of Harris Road;
— Criminal trespass on the 3000 block of Torrey Pines Lane;
— Suspicious person on the 5600 block of Randal Lane;
— Deceased person on the 300 block of Virginia Avenue.
ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least 14 calls on Tuesday and early Wednesday, available reports show. Incidents included:
— Motor vehicle accident at the intersection of South McKinley Street and West Lincoln Avenue, the 500 block of Pine Avenue, the intersection of South Madison Street and West Oglethorpe Boulevard and the intersection of West Town Road and West Oakridge Drive;
— Extrication of victims at the intersection of West Broad Avenue and South Slappey Boulevard;
— Emergency medical assistance on the 300 block of Virginia Avenue;
— Building fire on the 200 block of Telfair Avenue.
DOUGHERTY EMS: The Dougherty County Emergency Medical Service responded to at least 73 calls on Tuesday, available reports show.
The medical calls included four chest pains, three abdominal pains/problems, one choking, two unknown problems/men down, two respiratory issues, 23 general sicknesses, four altered mental statuses, two diabetics, one obstetrics issue, three seizures, one abnormal behavior/suicide attempt, three cardiac arrests/deaths and two various medical issues.
The trauma calls included 10 auto accidents, five falls, one laceration and two assaults. The other calls included one stand-by for APD, one transport and two medical alert activations.
