ALBANY — The Albany Police Department responded to at least 39 incidents on Wednesday, available reports show. Incidents included:
— Missing person on the 400 block of Florence Drive and the 1600 block of Maryland Drive;
— Theft by taking on the 300 block of Wells Drive, the 1500 block of North Jackson Street, the 700 block of Dartmouth Lane, the 700 block of Corn Avenue, the 1700 block of Myrtle Road, the 200 block of West Society Avenue and the 1100 block of 11th Avenue;
— Disorderly conduct on the 1500 block of North Slappey Boulevard;
— Underage consumption on the 2400 block of North Slappey Boulevard;
— Aggravated assault on the 1500 block of McArthur Street and the 1400 block of Whispering Pines Road;
— Simple battery, family violence, on the 200 block of North Carroll Street, the 2700 block of Westgate Drive and the 300 block of South Mock Road;
— Unruly child on the 2800 block of Burlington Road;
— First-degree burglary on the 1400 block of South Van Buren Street;
— Identity fraud on the 1100 block of North Westover Boulevard and the 1700 block of South Slappey Boulevard;
— Criminal trespass on the 100 block of North Slappey Boulevard, the 900 block of Friendship Drive and the 1400 block of Greenbrier Court;
— Second-degree burglary on the 200 block of Lexington Drive;
— Family violence, unfounded, on the 900 block of Swift Street and the 400 block of Heard Avenue;
— Motor vehicle theft on the 1000 block of East Oglethorpe Boulevard;
— Shoplifting on the 200 block of Cordele Road;
— Stop sign violation on the 2200 block of Leonard Avenue;
— Deceased person on the 1300 block of Dawson Road;
— First-degree criminal damage to property on the 300 block of Tallulah Drive;
— Theft of lost or mislaid property on the 1400 block of Radium Springs Road;
— Family violence on the 300 block of East Oakridge Drive.
DOUGHERTY POLICE: The Dougherty County Police Department responded to at least 35 calls on Wednesday and early Thursday, available reports show. Incidents included:
— Motor vehicle theft on the 3200 block of Staton Drive;
— Contact person on the 1200 block of Antioch Road, the 3000 block of Calvary Road, the 3300 block of Sylvester Road, the 800 block of Shelton Drive, the 3300 block of Twin Flower Road and the 2100 block of Habersham Road;
— Injured animal on the 2500 block of South Hibiscus Road;
— Family violence on the 3000 block of Calvary Road and the 400 block of Lumpkin Street;
— Suspicious auto on the 500 block of Abigail Plantation Road the 1000 block of James Cross Avenue;
— Auto accident on the 3400 block of Staton Drive, the intersection of Liberty Expressway and Nelms Road, the intersection of North County Line Road and Hill Road, the 300 block of Abigail Plantation Road and the intersection of Gillionville Road and Beattie Road;
— Attempt to contact on the 5400 block of Paulk Drive and the 2500 block of Crusoe Village Court;
— Burglary alarm on the 2900 block of Gillionville Road and the 4400 block of La Costa Drive;
— Escort on the 300 block of South Westover Boulevard;
— Suspicious person on the 400 block of Poinciana Avenue;
— Suicide attempt on the 2500 block of South Hibiscus Road;
— Unknown problem on the 400 block of South Westover Boulevard;
— Entering auto on the 3300 block of Sylvester Road;
— Miscellaneous problem on the 3200 block of Sylvester Road and the 1500 block of South Mock Road;
— Animal running at large at the intersection of Nelms Road and Liberty Expressway Southeast.
ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least nine calls on Wednesday, available reports show. Incidents included:
— Heat from a short circuit on the 2600 block of Cardinal Street;
— Animal rescue on the 400 block of Cannon Avenue;
— Gas leak on the 100 block of Shelby Lane;
— Alarm system activation on the 400 block of Wadkins Avenue and the 1100 block of Whispering Pines Road;
— Motor vehicle accident at the intersection of Palmyra Road and 14th Avenue and the 3400 block of Staton Drive;
— Building fire on the 100 block of Swaggort Road.
DOUGHERTY EMS: The Dougherty County Emergency Medical Service responded to a total of 59 calls on Wednesday, available reports show.
The medical calls included four chest pains, one back pain, one unknown/man down, 13 respiratory issues, 13 general sicknesses, three faintings, one altered mental status, two strokes, one diabetic, two obstetrics issues, one seizure, two abnormal behaviors/suicide attempts and one other medical call.
The trauma calls included five auto accidents and eight falls. Another call was for an APD stand-by.
