ALBANY POLICE: The Albany Police Department responded to at least 20 calls on Wednesday and the early hours of Thursday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:
— Disorderly conduct on the 600 block of South Jackson Street;
— Battery on the 1300 block of Hobson Street and the 1800 block of Pearl Avenue;
— Assaults on the 700 block of North Washington Street and the 1000 block of South McKinley Street;
— Criminal trespass on the 500 block of 10th Avenue, the 300 block of Moultrie Road and the 1700 block of Malone Drive;
— Terroristic threats and acts on the 2700 block of Pointe North Boulevard;
— Child in need of services on the 200 block of Tremont Avenue;
— Burglary on the 1000 block of Netherland Lane;
— Theft by taking on the 2400 block of Dawson Road;
— Entering autos on the 100 block of South Jefferson Street, the 200 block of South Jefferson Street and the 2000 block of Lafayette Circle;
— Demented person on the 1100 block of Augusta Drive;
— Interfering with city officers on the 1600 block of Whitney Avenue;
— Child restraint violation on the 600 block of Bonny View Avenue;
— Theft by shoplifting on the 1600 block of East Oglethorpe Boulevard;
— Open container on the 2700 block of North Slappey Boulevard.
DOUGHERTY POLICE: The Dougherty County Police Department responded to at least 17 calls on Wednesday and the early hours of Thursday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:
— Residential burglary on the 100 block of Honeysuckle Drive;
— Suspicious autos on the 400 block of Dunbar Lane, the 1200 block of South Westover Boulevard and the 2300 block of the Liberty Expressway;
— Auto accident hit and run on the 2400 block of the Liberty Expressway;
— Suspicious person on the 1100 block of Old Pretoria Road;
— Abandoned auto on the 1100 block of Williamsburg Road;
— Animal at large on the 5100 block of Preston Court;
— Criminal trespass on the 200 block of Elizabeth Avenue;
— Road block on the 2700 block of Nelms Road;
— Burglar alarm on the 2000 block of Covey Road;
— Auto accidents on the 2200 block of the Liberty Expressway and the 6800 block of Newton Road;
— Theft by taking on the 500 block of Old Pretoria Road;
— Disorderly conduct on the 3200 block of Sylvester Highway;
— Discharging firearm on the 1100 block of Antioch Road.
ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least six calls on Wednesday and the early hours of Thursday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:
— EMS assists on the 1300 block of Radium Springs Road and the 1300 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Drive;
— Building fires on the 400 block of North Magnolia Street, the 2700 block of Yorktown Avenue and the 3000 block of West Pointe Court;
— Brush fire on the 2600 block of Partridge Drive.
DOUGHERTY EMS: Dougherty County EMS responded to at least 50 calls on Wednesday and the early hours of Thursday, available reports indicate. Incidents included 12 respiratory issue calls, four chest pain calls, two faint calls, two seizure calls, two cardiac arrest calls, one mental health call and 19 various medical calls. Trauma calls included five falls and three assaults. Other types of calls included two assists of the Albany Fire Department.
