ALBANY — The Albany Police Department responded to at least 26 calls on Wednesday and the early hours of Thursday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:
— Theft by shoplifting on the 200 block of Cordele Road and the 2800 block of Nottingham Way;
— Burglary on the 600 block of Burke Avenue, the 800 block of West Broad Avenue, the 1000 block of Exter Drive, the 1500 block of Cora Jinks Lane, the 900 block of 10th Avenue and the 1700 block of West Oglethorpe Boulevard;
— Aggravated assault on the 1600 block of Whiting Drive;
— Runaway juvenile on the 100 block of North Cleveland Street;
— Public indecency on the 200 block of West Oglethorpe Boulevard;
— Possession of a controlled II or III drug on the 100 block of Blaylock Street;
— Criminal trespass on the 300 block of South Mock Road, the 2400 block of Brierwood Drive and the 1400 block of South Carolina Avenue;
— Harassing phone calls on the 1300 block of Mobile Avenue;
— Child in need of services/curfew on the 100 block of Frost Street;
— Battery on the 600 block of West Lincoln Avenue and the 800 block of West Residence Avenue;
— Obstruction of a law enforcement officer on the 700 block of South Slappey Boulevard;
— Armed robbery on the 1100 block of Clark Avenue;
— Theft by taking on the 1600 block of McArthur Street;
— Firearm possession by a convicted felon on the 2200 block of South Madison Street;
— Entering auto on the 1200 block of Kingstown Court, the 2400 block of Brierwood Drive and the 1400 block of Owens Avenue.
DOUGHERY POLICE: The Dougherty County Police Department responded to at least five calls on Wednesday and the early hours of Thursday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:
— Suspicious person on the 1000 block of Liberty Expressway and the 1500 block of Nelms Road;
— Information only on the 3800 block of Vanderbilt Drive;
— Building check on the 2200 block of Willingham Drive;
— Family violence on the 2400 block of Radium Springs Road.
ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least four calls on Wednesday and the early hours of Thursday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:
— Brush fire on the 100 block of Front Street;
— EMS assist on the 100 block of Honeysuckle Drive and the 2000 block of Coves Court;
— Building fire on the 600 block of Cochran Avenue.
