ALBANY POLICE: The Albany Police Department responded to at least 22 calls on Thursday and the early hours of Friday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:
— Drug paraphernalia on the 1700 block of Schilling Avenue;
— Thefts by taking on the 500 block of South Slappey Boulevard, the 2400 block of Hemlock Drive, the 3600 block of Mayfair Lane, the 1500 block of North Maple Street, the 1500 block of North Monroe Street, the 200 block Cordele Road, the 1400 block of East Broad Avenue and the 900 block of Mercedes Street;
— Criminal trespass on the 500 block of Don Cutler Sr. Drive, the 1600 block of Maryland Drive and the 600 block of Moultrie Road;
— Entering automobiles on the 1500 block of Georgia Avenue;
— Battery on the 1700 block of Palmyra Road;
— Simple battery on the 500 block of Don Cutler Sr. Drive;
— Aggravated assaults on the 1100 block of Newton Road and the 300 block of South Mock Road;
— Disorderly conduct on the 200 block of Don Cutler Sr. Drive and the 2000 block of Schilling Avenue;
— Burglary on the 1300 block of South Mock Road;
— Child in need of service on the 1300 block of Mulberry Avenue.
DOUGHERTY POLICE: Dougherty County Police responded to at least seven calls on Thursday and the early hours of Friday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:
— Escort on the 4400 block of Acree Street;
— Entering autos on the 500 block of the Liberty Expressway and the 2200 block of Pendleton Street;
— Criminal damage to property on the 1200 block of Paul Lane;
— Disorderly conduct on the 2300 block of the Liberty Expressway;
— Theft by conversion on the 3800 block of Slade Avenue;
— Auto accident on the 600 block of Byron Plantation Road.
ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least seven calls on Thursday and the early hours of Friday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:
— EMS calls on the 100 block of Johnson Road, the 200 block of West Third Avenue, the 2600 block of Cardinal Street and the 1100 block of Wingate Avenue;
— Building fire on the 1200 block of Pinecrest Drive;
— Unauthorized burning on the 1700 block of Owens Avenue;
— Passenger vehicle fire on the 1100 block of West Oakridge Drive.
DOUGHERTY EMS: Dougherty County EMS responded to at least 63 calls on Thursday and the early hours of Friday, available reports indicate. Incidents included five chest pain calls, 13 respiratory issue calls, 13 general sickness calls, two abdominal pain calls, one back pain call, one faint call, one altered mental status call, two stroke calls, two seizure calls, five cardiac arrest/deaths and one various medical call. Trauma calls included one auto accident, 11 falls, one laceration, one gunshot/stab victim and one fire. Other calls included one local transport and one standby for a school function.
