ALBANY POLICE: The Albany Police Department responded to at least 14 calls on Thursday and the early hours of Friday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:
— Robbery by sudden snatching on the 1800 block of West Gordon Avenue;
— Disorderly conduct on the 2000 block of North Slappey Boulevard, the 500 block of North Slappey Boulevard and the 2500 block of Bascom drive;
— Thefts by taking on the 1100 block of 10th Avenue, the 1700 block of South Madison Street and the 1100 Ball Park Lane;
— Cocaine possession on the 800 block of McIntosh Road;
— Entering auto on the 1600 block of North Valencia Drive;
— Burglaries on the 500 block of Don Cutler Sr. Drive, the 300 block of Slater King Drive and the 1800 block of Samford Drive;
— Criminal trespass on the 300 block of Wells Avenue.
DOUGHERTY POLICE: The Dougherty County Police Department responded to at least 17 calls on Thursday and the early hours of Friday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:
— Drug overdose on the 2700 block of McCall Street;
— Suspicious persons on the 3900 block of Vanderbilt Drive, the 2300 Betty’s Drive, the 800 block of Cordele Road, the 100 block of Byron Ridge Drive, the 1200 block of Wyandott Drive and the intersection of Moultrie Road and Honeysuckle Drive;
— Family violence on the 3200 block of War Eagle Drive;
— Burglary on the 2500 block of Toni Lynne Lane;
— Criminal trespass on the 1600 block of Cordele Road;
— Deceased person on the 1100 block of Old Pretoria Road;
— Suspicious auto on the 5000 block of Doles Road;
— Auto accident with injuries on the 500 block of the Liberty Expressway;
— Shooting on the 4000 block of Moultrie Road;
ALBANY FIRE: The Albany fire Department responded to at least nine calls on Thursday and the early hours of Friday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:
— Outside equipment fire on the 2200 block of Chestnut Court;
— Grass fire on the 2300 block of Beachview Drive;
— EMS assists on the 1300 block of Newton Road, the 1900 block of South Skylane Drive and the 1100 block of Old Pretoria Road;
— Arcing electrical on the 1600 block of Cordele Road;
— Gas leak on the 100 block of Oak Street;
— Power lines down on the 400 block of Bobbitt Drive and the 2500 block of Brierwood Drive.
DOUGHERTY EMS: Dougherty County EMS responded to at least 67 calls on Thursday and the early hours of Friday, available reports indicate. Incidents included one chest pain call, seven respiratory issue calls, two abdominal pain calls, one allergic reaction call, one headache call, four unknown problem calls, one well person check call, two fainting calls, one diabetic issue call, two labor issue calls, four seizure calls, one altered mental state call, four cardiac arrest calls, four abnormal behavior calls and 16 general sickness calls.Trauma calls included two overdoses, four auto accidents, five falls, two assaults, two gunshot victims and one animal bite.
