ALBANY POLICE: The Albany Police Department responded to at least 16 calls on Tuesday and the early hours of Wednesday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:
— Battery on the 2000 block of North Riverview Circle and the 900 block of Radium Springs Road;
— Robbery on the 400 block of Eighth Avenue;
— Criminal trespass on the 100 block of South Westover Boulevard and the 100 block of North Front Street;
— Burglary on the 800 block of Cedar Avenue;
— Entering auto on the 1900 block of South Riverview Circle;
— Thefts by taking on the 200 block of Thornton Drive, the 1900 block of Palmyra Road, the 900 block of West First Avenue and the 1100 block of Dawson Road;
— Miscellaneous property damage on the 700 block of the Liberty Expressway and the 2500 block of Dawson Road;
— Obstruction of law enforcement officers on the 800 block of 13th Avenue;
— Public indecency on the 1800 block of East Broad Avenue;
— Interfering with officers on the 600 block of West Gordon Avenue.
DOUGHERTY POLICE: The Dougherty County Police Department responded to at least 14 calls on Tuesday and the early hours of Wednesday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:
— Animal call on the 4200 block of Dawson Road;
— Auto accident on the 4900 block of Dawson Road;
— Attempt to contact on the 3900 block of Dawson Road;
— Personal welfare check at the corner of Newton Road and Oakhaven Drive;
— Burglar alarm on the 4500 block of Seymour Lane;
— Disorderly conduct on the 4800 block of Hill Road;
— Suspicious vehicle on the 5000 block of Radium Springs Road;
— Burglary on the 600 block of Eight Mile Road;
— Abandoned vehicle on the 2400 block of Lily Pond Road;
— Wanted person on the 200 block of Elizabeth Avenue;
— Loud music on the 6100 block of Elliott Drive;
— Panhandling on the 2300 block of the Liberty Expressway;
— Traffic stops on the 5600 block of Newton Road and the 800 block of Holly Drive.
ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least five calls on Tuesday and the early hours of Wednesday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:
— Unauthorized burning on the 100 block of North Mock Road;
— Auto accident on the 100 block of South Westover Boulevard;
— Natural gas leak on the 1400 block of Gillespie Avenue;
— Passenger vehicle fire on the 1300 block of Dawson Road;
— Water or steam leak on the 900 block of Van Deman Street.
DOUGHERTY EMS: Dougherty County EMS responded to at least 53 calls on Tuesday and the early hours of Wednesday, available reports indicate. Incidents included four chest pain calls, 10 respiratory issue calls, one fainting call, one diabetic issue call, one labor issue, two seizure calls, one altered mental state call, one abnormal behavior call, two abnormal pain calls, one allergic reaction call, one eye problem, one unknown problem call and 10 respiratory issue calls. Trauma calls included three auto accidents, eight falls and one laceration. Other types of calls included two medical alert activations.
