ALBANY POLICE: The Albany Police Department responded to at least 19 calls on Wednesday and the early hours of Thursday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:
— Thefts by taking on the 2100 block of Dervan Street, the 1000 block of South McKinley Street, the 1000 block of North Slappey Boulevard and the 1200 block of Kingstown Court;
— Battery on the 2300 block of West Gordon Avenue;
— Child in need of services on the 1000 block of East Residence Avenue;
— Burglaries on the 300 block of Station Crossing Drive, the 400 block of Lucile Street and the 1000 block of West Third Avenue;
— Criminal trespass on the 500 block of North Harding Street, the 1700 block of Gillespie Avenue and the 500 block of Dorsett Avenue;
— Entering auto on the 2700 block of Dawson Road;
— DUIs on the 900 block of Radium Springs Road and the 600 block of West Broad Avenue;
— Criminal damage to property on the 600 block of West Residence Avenue;
— Affray on the 1500 block of McArthur Street;
— Aggravated stalking on the 1100 block of West Broad Street;
— Aggravated assault on the 1600 block of Martha Street.
DOUGHERTY POLICE: The Dougherty County Police Department responded to at least three calls on Wednesday and the early hours of Thursday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:
— Auto accident on the 4400 block of Acree Avenue;
— Animal at large on the 100 block of Ramsey Road;
— Burglar alarm on the 1600 block of the Liberty Expressway.
ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least six calls on Wednesday and the early hours of Thursday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:
— Auto accidents at the intersection of North Jackson Street and Tift Avenue, the intersection of North Westover Boulevard and Old Dawson Road and the 2700 block of Dawson Road;
— Steam vapor on the 2000 block of West Broad Avenue;
— Arcing electrical on the 1400 block of South Monroe Street;
— Excessive heat on the 2200 block of East Broad Avenue.
DOUGHERTY EMS: Dougherty County EMS responded to at least 70 calls on Wednesday and the early hours of Thursday, available reports indicate. Incidents included eight respiratory issue calls, five seizure calls, five miscellaneous pain calls, five cardiac arrest calls, three chest pain calls, two altered mental state calls, two diabetic issue calls and 20 various medical calls. Trauma calls included eight auto accident victims, eight falls, two assaults and one laceration. Other types of calls included one medical alert call.
