ALBANY POLICE: The Albany Police Department responded to at least 24 calls on Monday and the early hours of Tuesday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:
— Missing person on the 1900 block of Meadow Drive;
— Deceased person on the 1600 block of Avalon Avenue;
— Aggravated assault on the 1100 block of Wingate Avenue;
— Suicide attempt on the 2200 block of Friar Tuck Lane;
— Forgery on the 1500 block of Radium Springs Road;
— Prowling on the 900 block of East Oglethorpe Boulevard;
— Children in need of services on the 1300 block of Maryland Drive and the 2600 block of South Jackson Street;
— Thefts by taking on the 3200 block of Fernridge Drive, the 1200 block of Hill Top Drive, the 1100 block of Ninth Avenue, the 2500 block of Dawson Road and the 300 block of North Slappey Boulevard;
— Disorderly conduct on the 700 block of North Westover Boulevard, the 400 block of Odom Avenue and the 600 block of 11th Avenue;
— Criminal damage to property on the 900 block of Holloway Avenue and the 300 block of West Tift Avenue;
— Assault on the 1600 block of Gardner Drive;
— Thefts by shoplifting on the 2000 block of North Slappey Boulevard, the 1800 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Drive and the 2500 block of North Slappey Boulevard;
— Curfew violation on the 200 block of Cordele Road;
— Battery on the 500 block of Don Cutler Sr. Drive.
DOUGHERTY POLICE: The Dougherty County Police Department responded to at least 11 calls on Monday and the early hours of Tuesday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:
— Tree down blocking road on the 4900 block of Old Dawson Road;
— Harassing phone call on the 6000 block of Jenkins Road;
— Suspicious person on the 3500 block of Sylvester Highway;
— Assist motorist at the intersection of Wadsworth Avenue and Winifred Road;
— Auto theft on the 3400 block of Leary Road;
— Abandoned autos on the 2600 block of Moultrie Road and the 100 block of South Westover Boulevard;
— Animals at large on the 4100 block of Fleming Road and the 5600 block of McIver Drive;
— Auto accident on the 100 block of South County Line Road;
— Suspicious auto on the 1200 block of McKenzie Road.
ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least 11 calls on Monday and the early hours of Tuesday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:
— Search for person in water on the 1700 block of Turner Field Road;
— EMS assist on the 3800 block of Old Dawson Road;
— Passenger vehicle fire on the 1100 block of North Madison Street;
— Unauthorized burnings on the 1600 block of Pineview Avenue and the 700 block of Holloway Avenue;
— Gasoline leak on the 500 block of Swift Street;
— Excessive heat on the 1000 block of Swift Court;
— Building fires on the 1900 block of South Riverview Circle and the 1200 block of Kingstown Court;
— Auto accident on the 1300 block of North Slappey Boulevard;
— CO2 detector activation on the 1500 block of Cordell Avenue.
DOUGHERTY EMS: Dougherty County EMS responded to at least 74 calls on Monday and the early hours of Tuesday, available reports indicate. Incidents included six chest pain calls, 10 respiratory issue calls, one abdominal pain call, four abnormal behavior calls, two diabetic issue calls, one seizure call, four altered mental state calls, five cardiac arrest calls and 27 general sickness calls. Trauma calls included four auto accidents, four falls and one traumatic injury. Other types of calls included one stand-by for APD and two medical alert activations.
