ALBANY POLICE: The Albany Police Department responded to at least 13 calls on Wednesday and the early hours of Thursday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:
— Battery on the 1400 block of 11th Avenue and the 1800 block of Pine Needle Lane;
— Identity theft on the 1100 block of East Roosevelt Avenue;
— Burglaries on the 1000 block of North McKinley Street and the 1700 block of South Jackson Street;
— Aggravated assault on the 300 block of West Roosevelt Avenue;
— Entering auto on the 500 block of West Third Avenue;
— Thefts by taking on the 2500 block of Brierwood Drive, the 1900 block of Elkhorn Lane and the 1100 block of Whispering Pines Road;
— Criminal trespass on the 400 block of Station Crossing Drive and the 700 block of Corn Avenue;
— Child in need on the 1500 block of West Waddell Avenue.
DOUGHERTY POLICE: The Dougherty County Police Department responded to at least 13 calls on Wednesday and the early hours of Friday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:
— Suspicious vehicle on the 4100 block of Hardup Road;
— Traffic control on the 100 block of Lover’s Lane Road;
— Personal welfare check on the 100 block of North County Line Road;
— Traffic lights out on the 100 block of South County Line Road;
— Animal call on the 6100 block of Elliot Drive;
— Harassing phone calls on the 1400 block of Nelms Road;
— Loud music on the 4800 block of Pinto Drive;
— Family violence on the 2800 block of Spelman Drive;
— Demented person on the 4200 block of Nichols Street;
— Assist motorist on the 3000 block of Tiger Court;
— Burglar alarm on the 900 block of River Pointe Drive;
— Auto accident on the 7500 block of Gillionville Road;
— Family violence on the 2700 block of Leary Road.
ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least three calls on Wednesday and the early hours of Thursday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:
— EMS assists on the 1500 block of Elva Street and the 1900 block of Palmyra Road;
— Unauthorized burning on the 1700 block of 12th Avenue.
DOUGHERTY EMS: Dougherty County EMS responded to at least 60 calls on Wednesday and the early hours of Thursday, available reports indicate. Incidents included seven chest pain calls, eight respiratory issue calls, one headache call, two fainting calls, one abnormal behavior call, four unknown problem calls, one stroke call, one labor call, four seizure calls, one altered mental state call and 19 general sickness calls.
