ALBANY POLICE: The Albany Police Department responded to at least 11 calls on Thursday and the early hours of Friday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:
— Criminal trespass on the 400 block of West Third Avenue and the 1000 block of University Street;
— Burglary on the 600 block of Willis Drive;
— No insurance on the 300 block of West Mercer Avenue;
— Deceased person the 1200 block of Parker Avenue;
— Giving false identification on the 700 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Drive;
— Hit and run on the 700 block of West Oglethorpe Boulevard;
— Battery on the 1000 block of Don Cutler Sr. Drive, the 900 block of West Gordon Avenue and the 600 block of North Washington Street;
— Unlawful eavesdropping or surveillance on the 1000 block of Forest Glen Drive.
DOUGHERTY POLICE: The Dougherty County Police Department responded to at least 11 calls on Thursday and the early hours of Friday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:
— Animal calls on the 500 block of Sportsman’s Club Road and the 500 block of Pine Bluff Road;
— Criminal trespass on the 3000 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Drive;
— Suspicious auto on the 600 block of James Drive;
— Suspicious persons on the 3200 block of Sylvester Highway, the 2200 block of the Liberty Expressway and the 3300 block of War Eagle Drive;
— Family violence on the 1700 block of Moultrie Road and the 4800 block of Pinto Drive;
— Traffic control on the 2000 block of South County Line Road;
— Traffic stop on the 1400 block of South Mock Road.
ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least 10 calls on Thursday and the early hours of Friday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:
— EMS assists on the 1500 block of West Second Avenue, the 1200 block of Parker Avenue, the 1500 block of Malone Drive, the 2000 block of Lafayette Circle and the 1300 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Drive;
— Auto accident on the 100 block of East Oglethorpe Boulevard;
— Mobile home fire on the 2000 block of South County Line Road;
— Arcing electrical on the 500 block of College Drive;
— Assist police on the 1200 block of Parker Avenue;
— Building fire on the 600 block of Sands Drive;
— Brush fire on the 500 block of Swift Street.
DOUGHERTY EMS: Dougherty County EMS responded to at least 68 calls on Thursday and the early hours of Friday, available reports indicate. Incidents included seven chest pain calls, six respiratory issue calls, one choking call, two fainting calls, one stroke call, one unknown problem call, one diabetic issue call, one seizure call, three altered mental state calls, one abnormal behavior call, six cardiac arrest calls and 19 general sickness calls. Trauma calls included seven auto accidents, five falls and one burn victim. Other calls included two standby calls for APD, one local transport and three medical alert activations.
