ALBANY POLICE: The Albany Police Department responded to at least 20 calls on Tuesday and the early hours of Wednesday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:
— Terroristic threats and acts on the 200 block of Oglethorpe Boulevard;
— Aggravated assault on the 200 block of Thornton Drive and the 1300 block of West Highland Avenue;
— Entering auto on the 300 block of South Mock Road and the 1000 block of North Slappey Boulevard;
— Theft by shoplifting on the 2500 block of North Slappey Boulevard and the 200 block of Cordele Road;
— Criminal damage to property on the 2100 block of Lennox Avenue and the 2700 block of West Oakridge Drive;
— Theft by taking on the 2100 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Drive and the 2000 block of Schilling Avenue;
— Assault on the 1800 block of Gadsden Drive;
— Armed robbery on the 700 block of East Broad Avenue;
— Burglary on the 500 block of North Westover Boulevard, the 600 block of Holloway Avenue, the 1500 block of Fifth Avenue, the 900 block of West Residence Avenue and the 1800 block of Mississippi Avenue;
— Criminal trespass on the 400 block of Lipsey Drive and the 800 block of Goodall Avenue.
DOUGHERTY POLICE: The Dougherty County Police Department responded to at least five calls on Tuesday and the early hours of Wednesday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:
— Miscellaneous call on the 5000 block of Barrington Drive;
— Burglary on the 3500 block of Sylvester Highway;
— Suspicious person on the 2100 block of Cordele Road;
— Civil issue on the 2700 block of Home Drive;
— Traffic arrest on the 1500 block of South Mock Road.
ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least four calls on Tuesday and the early hours of Wednesday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:
— Building fire on the 4000 block of Gillionville Road;
— Outside rubbish fire on the 1500 block of Power Lane;
— Auto accident with extrication at the intersection of Stuart Avenue and Nottingham Way;
— EMS assist on the 200 block of Thistle Court.
DOUGHERTY EMS: The Dougherty county EMS responded to at least 64 calls on Tuesday and the early hours of Wednesday, available reports indicate. Incidents included six chest pain calls, five respiratory issue calls, five mental health calls, four altered mental state calls, three miscellaneous pain calls, three cardiac arrest calls, two labor calls, one seizure call, one diabetic issue call and 16 various medical calls. Trauma calls included eight falls, six auto accident victims, two lacerations and one assault. Other types of calls included one medical alert assistance call.
