ALBANY POLICE: The Albany Police Department responded to at least 19 calls on Wednesday and the early hours of Thursday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:
— Possession of a controlled substance on the 100 block of North Front Street;
— Theft by taking on the 2700 block of Pointe North Boulevard;
— Criminal trespass on the 500 block of American Lane, the 500 block of American Lane, the 500 block of American Lane, the 1500 block of Estelle Street, the 300 block of Grant Place, the 500 block of Louis Avenue and the 200 block of North Central Street;
— Possession of marijuana on the 1000 block of Clark Avenue;
— Entering automobiles on the 600 block of West Tift Avenue, the 100 block of Westcott Lane and the 1900 block of North Maple Street;
— Terroristic threats and acts on the 210 block of Wells Avenue;
— Theft by taking, motor vehicle theft, on the 500 block of Bobbitt Drive;
— Safety belt violation on the corner of Blaylock Street and Clark Avenue;
— Burglaries on the 1900 block of South Flintlock Drive and the 400 block of Holloway Avenue.
DOUGHERTY POLICE: Dougherty County Police responded to at least four calls on Wednesday and the early hours of Thursday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:
— Theft by taking on the 2100 block of Habersham Road;
— Auto accidents on the 300 block of Leary Road and the corner of Lily Pond Road and Martin Luther King Jr. Drive;
— Criminal trespass on the 400 block of South Westover Boulevard.
ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least two calls on Wednesday and the early hours of Thursday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:
— Power line down on the 2400 block of Dawson Road;
— Brush or brush-and-grass mix fire on the 900 block of South County Line Road.
